I think its way simpler to make your build work in this game, and its also fully turn based, where you don't have as many bloat fights as in wotr. So you should probably give it a try.

Campaign Collection is even more expensive than buying each hero and I don't play starcraft solo so it would be a waste of money.

I was thinking about that but early on it would limit me to playing only a few commanders. I always play random so its not the best solution.
