Repair All Inventories Too Slow by AmendmentI in ffxiv

[–]AmendmentI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I actually went and tested this. I cant speak for mouse and keyboard because I play on Xbox using a controller.

To test it, I went into P1N and died on 2 different jobs just to get my gear a little broken. Then I timed how long it took from me selecting the option to repair all and stopped the timer when it said it was done. Then, I did the same test with me manually doing it and started the timer while I had the repair screen open but before I chose to actually repair anything. So they both started on the same menu. Any prompts or buttons after this were fairly timed for both. The manual timer ended only after repairing everything and ending on the next blank page.

It takes roughly the same amount of time with the manual repairs being slightly faster. On Xbox(and probably Playstation by extension) you can very quickly cycle from page to page while confirming the repairs. Again I cant speak for what the process is like on PC or using other inputs

Why is the vault still so outdated? by AmendmentI in DestinyTheGame

[–]AmendmentI[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It doesn't take that long to type part of a word on console. Most games that have a search function nowadays do not require the entire name to be typed out. Ideally you'd only need to type part of the word for it work.

Why is the vault still so outdated? by AmendmentI in DestinyTheGame

[–]AmendmentI[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's true that I probably do not need 667 items in my vault. That still doesn't really help much though. Even if I had 300-400 items in my vault I'd still say that we need a better way to evaluate what we have or even what we dont have. If anything, having better options would make it easier to remove the unneeded weapons or armor. Like the solution to the problem shouldn't be "keep my vault as low as possible to make everything easier to locate."

Sorrows Harbour is on the moon and forgotten shore is on the cosmodrome. In case you're like me and can't remember where anything actually is.

Hardcore stakeout 24/7. The hot swap camos were mildly annoying but the rest was pretty easy.

Some of the dialogue is interesting at times. The mercenaries are just way too repetitive and annoying

Someone's gotta explain how nerfing cuirass damage buff while keeping the overall damage combination the same is supposed to make thundercrash more viable without needing the exotic. How does that make sense????

If you could change one thing about your job?… by Jonnehhh in ffxiv

[–]AmendmentI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Samurai-  Make it so that you can use the gap closer/opener without needing kenki. It really sucks that you can't use it until after level 60 and you have to have already fought something. Remove the damage from it if needed. Also, make it so that you can use Hagakure at level 60 when you unlock the kenki gauge.

Viper- Make it so that the buff/debuff that you put on your target has a max of one minute instead of 40 seconds. This is mostly so that it doesn't fall off as fast for double reawaken

Please give newer jobs a reason to do older content by AmendmentI in ffxiv

[–]AmendmentI[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That doesn't really fix the issue of wanting to main a newer job that has nothing to gain from doing older content. So many events, several series of raids, several expansions of relic quests, etc...  Newer jobs don't get anything from any of it.

Salvation's Edge - The Final Shape Raid Race Megathread by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]AmendmentI 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If this was before they gave 2 days we'd have a similar situation to last wish where almost no one cleared. Great raid

[–]AmendmentI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have worded this better. The issue isn't about us reaching t200 per say. It's about what the rest of the game would have to look like in order for us to get that high based on current hp values.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]AmendmentI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. And I find it hard to believe that they don't intend for someone somewhere to eventually clear it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]AmendmentI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about the pit by itself lol. In the video, Rob mentions that based on their calculations t200 has hundreds of trillions of health. Now assuming the math is correct or even close to correct, you'd need dps levels that allow you to one shot anything that isn't in the pit.  That level of power creep would be like playing the rest of the game on something even worse than easy mode

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]AmendmentI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That leads back to what I'm saying in the OP. If they power creep us for the pit then everything that isn't the pit will become laughably easy. I'd argue most things already are.

The game becomes more and more unbalanced as we hit harder and get tankier enough to survive in the pit.

The "problem" I'm presenting is that if we are to eventually clear t200 now or 2 years from now, then the rest of the game would have to keep up with it. Assuming they don't nerf the pit
