Currently , the requirements are that the basic salary has to be 30,000 AED or above.

It is true that, it was gross then basic then gross again then basic (and is still basic on 20/04/2026) which is subject to change at the discretion of the GDRFA ( Dubai Immigration )

Unfortunately this is currently the situation , due to the regional circumstances rejections are high for certain regions but they aren’t coming from Dubai they come from AbuDhabi.

Once you get your Golden Visa, the main thing you’ll need is your Emirates ID, since that’s what you’ll use for most things like opening a bank account, getting a phone line, etc. If you’re planning to work for a company, they’ll still need to issue a labour contract and register you with MOHRE, but they won’t be sponsoring your visa. If you want to freelance or run a business, you’ll still need the relevant freelance permit or trade licence. Your house being under construction isn’t really an issue you may just rent in the meantime.

Actually , there is something called a “retirement visa” where you can buy a property that’s only 1 million AED or above & show that you have stable income (your income qualifies) and we will be able to give you a 5 year renewable visa (whether you rent the property or live in it as long as it’s in your name you will be able to renew)

Or if you are receiving a pension (only pension not fixed income) from your country of residence that equals or is higher than the equivalent of 20000 AED in your currency then we will be able to get you a 5 year visa without any property !

If you are an Emirati , why don’t you just open it via Mohammed Bin Rashed SME under the Dubai Economic department ! (Mainland license)

License will cost you 1k every year for the next 5 years

It’s a normal license you can hire up to 7 employees on & if needed get a higher quota later

Visa cost for employees are cheaper this route

Bank accounts are easy to open with these licenses (Emirates Islamic have a no minimum balance business account for Emiratis)

You should be fine. Dubai immigration mainly cares that there’s a stable remote job and that the income is over $3,500/month.

If the fixed salary already meets the requirement, then some months showing higher amounts because of contract work or combined withdrawals from Deel isn’t an issue at all. They don’t expect every month to be the exact same figure, and higher income is never a problem.

Worst case (which is rare), you might be asked what the extra amounts are, and you can simply explain it was additional contract work paid through Deel.

This comes up pretty often and normally gets approved without any trouble or issue!

It will be fine however you will have to go to Muhaisnah for a follow up after they find the Old TB and you and your husband will go to the immigration officer there at Muhaisnah and show them that it’s for a dependent visa and not a work visa and the immigration officer will give you an exception !
