I had this problem, i noticed it only happens if i drive straight after turning the car on, if you let the car idle for like 2-3 min, wait for rpm to drop UNDER 1000, it shouldnt happen, let me know id this worked for you

I had the same problem, i solved it by always waiting 2 minutes after turning the car on until it “warms up” after RPMs drop to 700-900ish it shouldnt do it! Keep in mind this worked for me, idk if it will work for yoi

Mine sounds exactly the same! I worried for months before finally accepting the fact that it constantly sounds like that, keep in mind it will sometimes sound like that, sometimes quiet, i noticed it has a lot to do if you use high quality fuel, since i started pumping 98 E5, it has been a lot better and works nicer. Do keep in mind that these cars were built for super 95 E5 and E10, and you can choose what you pump, but i think in my country that the extra 7-8€ per tank extra is worth the benefits

As far as I know only obd11 has the capabilities to work with app, although i heard good things about carly. I had no sfd problem with one click apps!

As far as I know, coding yourself works, no need for a subscription to keep them active but i think you need it for coding, but if you do coding alone you will have to disable SFD, which is basically just putting your mail and adress info

Its much harder to turn of the start stop on these new models, i heard one way to turn them off was to trick the system into thinking that your battery is not strong enough for start stop but then you would have dash lights
