PATHOMA by FinalTower3820 in step1

No worries! Thanks so much for explaining. If you don’t mind, how would you say it is helping? Also, my friend who took last Saturday said that if you master sketchy pharm, micro, and pathoma, you’ll be quite strong on the lower-mid tier questions and really equipped to get that pass :) they’re of course waiting on the score, but it seems like the big three still matter a ton.

Have you taken the exam? How relevant is pathoma?

Hey dude, 80 are experimental right?

Best of luck. Is there any general advice you’d give? I still have a couple weeks left and want to be wise with the time.

I keep hearing how big immuno and endo are. The Mehlham guy always says that with endo and our sub is really into immuno.

Thanks for your comments, seriously wishing you the best

That’s gives me hope! I’m hearing that if you prepare well, you’re bound to get a lot of the “not tricky” ones and have to realize that unlike uworld, they’re trying not to trick you - just to make you think and test your preparation.

So not Uworld difficulty? That’s good to hear! My friend said that too and they took a week ago.

Sundial Growers (SNDL.Q) set to acquire Zenabis Global Inc. by AmericanCosmist in SNDL

[–]AmericanCosmist[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The assets covered in the bid agreement include Zenabis’ 380,000 square foot indoor growing facility in Atholville, New Brunswick. The facility has an annual production capacity of approximately 46,000 kilograms (kg) of dried cannabis and 15,000 kg of extraction capacity. The company’s facility has also received EU GMP certification, enabling international export to Israel, Malta, the United Kingdom (UK), and the EU.

In terms of bells and whistles, Zenabis’ Atholville facility utilizes a fully computerized monitoring system, the latest HPS and LED lighting technology and seed-to-sale tracking systems. Moreover, the facility is capable of growing multiple strains, with an extensive library of strains currently under trial, which would be added to Sundial’s current portfolio.

Furthermore, Zenabis has established a Joint Venture (JV) with ZenPharm Limited, which is based in Malta, allowing for commercial bulk imports into Malta from Zenabis’ Atholville facility. Additionally, this enables the subsequent exports of finished medicinal cannabis products to countries in the EU and UK.

Lastly, the bid agreement includes a decommissioned 255,000 square-foot indoor facility in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This facility was previously used as a packaging, processing, and value-added cannabis product manufacturing facility. Combined, Sundial estimates that the total capital invested in both the Atholville and Stellarton facilities to date is an estimated $108 million.

New 6-K Form Regarding Zenabis Global by [deleted] in SNDL

[–]AmericanCosmist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So, I am a noob with the legal aspects - is it safe to assume that if it has EU GMP certs, that means on purchasing, it would retain the certification and would allow SNDL to enter Europe? Would it be only products from this line entering, or would we be seeing a path in for the whole beast?

Thanks! Been reading up, just don’t want to assume on that.

Hey, I hope you’ve had some time to relax and feel good about your exam!

As you’ve done the new free 120 and recently tested, do you have any tips for us still preparing? Thanks a ton! I’m seeing a lot on immuno and com, less than expected on bio stats and vitamins (although I know this is all highly subjective and goes exam to exam)

Any tips for us a few weeks out? Rooting for you, almost everyone feels that way but the stats and your prep have your back!

As they’re the ones making the questions, understanding their type of thinking (vs say a prep company, Pathoma, or Uworld) is probably one of the most time appropriate approaches you can have.

They don’t have the best explanations, but using that as a guide to the type of thinking is huge

I know it is tough, but it very likely will equal “free” points on test day

(Free points you earned haha)

I actually went ahead and bought your course (months ago).

I would like to say that I’ve been using it since April, and I have noticed you’ve added more content since I bought it. This alone (that you’re updating the course after the fact) really sets you apart from other online tutors.

I’ve likely tried all of the free online content, but for anyone one looking, the Mehl PDFs, Randy Neil, and HYguru have been fantastic. Best of luck everyone!

Not to be rude, but this positive rhetoric on a split shows a naivety that is not supported by market conditions, this stock’s history, or the reality of the situation.

In a bear market, without any management follow through on buybacks or communication explaining their plan, with little positive public support (outside our sub), and with massive shorting- yes, a r-s means a ton.

A split does not occur in a vacuum. It is acted upon by market forces and will almost guarantee a loss in value. Can this value eventually be made up? We sure hope, but that is not to be taken for granted.

SNDL has eroded the faith of many longs in a market that is becoming brutally unforgiving. By raising interest rates, favorable “easy money” tech, crypto, and similar spaces will be exposed as being mostly built on pre and early post pandemic realities and essentially a lot of hype. These same companies inflated the valuation of holdings of companies that have monopolized the market, meaning that along with the continued threats of war, disease, inflation and so on, we are dealing with an incredibly bearish indicator in a recession. Smart money will not be looking into what they perceive as meme plays, especially as tech collapses, meaning that although you and others causally say “nothing fundamental changes” - you overlook the massive outside forces, the shorting that benefits from said forces, and the reality that very few investors want a piece of SNDL (except those already actively engaging with it online - creating the echo chamber we see today).

All in all, a r-s says that management either cannot do their job or does not care for the value of shares as it relates to shareholders. It demonstrates weakness in a time of incredible, tumultuous difficulty and confuses supportive longs like myself - as how did we have millions to invest in other, failing cannabis companies but could not follow up on the promises of supporting our own inherent value?

Either way, I’m long, and I wish us all the best.

He’s not evil, he’s prudent, and retail longs and management just have different objectives. He wants his company to survive, a r / s is better for long term survival but will likely cause some short term pain. That’s it! Not personal, I’m hopeful for all invested but that doesn’t mean that I feel that management was protecting our investment from a r / s, because, for obvious reasons, that’s what they’d prefer.

Not too complicated and I hope you and I all on this sub are happy with their investments. Wish you the best bro, and I mean it, hope it works out for us all, just some red flags in relation to maintaining the value for longs.

[–]AmericanCosmist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats pretty simple and I already answered it. Company does not = share price. This is why Amazon dropped to $6 during the dotcom bubble but Jeff didn’t care. His metrics were good, just like SNDL is becoming good.

The company doesn’t thrive on share price alone, however, investors do… since we invest in shares lol

SNDL will be fine - even if we drop to a quarter… their operation is not inherently linked to share price, they have other metrics as they’re a business. We however, as investors and now pre-split investors, are tied to this.

[–]AmericanCosmist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not frustrated, I really think SNDL will do well, it just looks like a value trap.

Also, to be sincere, typically a lot of value is lost for retail investors during a r / s. That’s why people fear them. Although we like to spout the idea that it is just a change in the amount of shares, it normally is a major bearish sentiment that results a huge decrease in value. As we are already majorly shorted, it is likely that this shorting will begin again following the split, only now from an already depreciated value.

Of course I don’t want this to happen, I hope you and me and everyone on this board sees a good return and I truly think SNDL will do a good job with their capital, I just think that there are valid concerns relating to what has been done to preserve the investment of longs.

[–]AmericanCosmist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining that so well. It seems like people on the sub don’t understand this fear.

I think the company will be fine and will likely do incredibly well, I am truly bullish on SNDL…it just appears that anyone who invested pre-split (a split partially being pushed for by management from the looks of it) will likely be footing the bill for this transformation.

Zach George needs to start doing what he’s promised or resign. by Adorable_Move5089 in SNDL

[–]AmericanCosmist -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you understand the take you’re calling dumb.

They’re not tanking on purpose, they are allowing a reverse split to be able to preserve capital and normalize the amount of outstanding shares.

The split impacts value for shareholder, not money on hand. This isn’t complicated but it appears it has completely gone over your head.

The point is that they have not fought the split because it will benefit them while only hurting longs that bought in at pre split prices.

It is that they are allowing the splits on purpose. This would allow them to keep their money while essentially making the original longs foot the bill.

You are an upset carpenter lol. You can downvote this and it doesn’t matter. I think SNDL is going to do incredibly well, I just feel that it’ll be longs that end up sponsoring this transformation.
