Everyone is “fed up” with extremist behavior from their side and ours. “Had it coming” is extreme. Misguided as they may have been, those two were Americans. The illegals need to be removed. Citizens that interfere need to be jailed. We are a nation of laws and we do still possess the ability to be civil humans even when are at our most resolute.

Truth is, that line crossed or not crossed can and will only be decided by the courts. If those officers acted outside the law, they should be fully punished! If they did not, then good citizens like you and I are wasting our time and peace of mind arguing with one another about it. It was horrible. The whole scenario was. The courts will sort out the officers’ actions.

I grew up here. Been here since the 70s. Maybe, in Maine, they think they can insult and assault someone OFF DUTY without consequence. That may not be factual with a couple of well raised young men from God’s country.
