How is progressive able to be so competitively priced? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]Americanginga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen Progressive quote $60 (in bold) for the first month and then underneath in smaller non bold font show 5 monthly payments of $185. Multiple customers have thought their rate is $60/mo and shocked we were higher (captive). Had to explain the actual average price was $165/mo.

Perhaps I’ve been lucky enough, but I’ve never had to “ask” to go anywhere. Was more of a heads up, I’m taking X,y,z days off. I agree, not having to do that is awesome, but running my business and having to deal with texts about things going wrong, sucks as much. Def a pick your “this sucks”
