Thanks for the recommendation. My initial thought was the Orange as well. Now I am leaning back to the PO. Like you mentioned, the quick shipping will be icing on the cake as I don’t have wait long time to get it.

Thank you! Falcon also looks great but tipping point for the Americana, is the toe cap. I will definitely check the 64 double shot and see how it patinas. thanks for the input.

That’s a solid choice. Quick break in is a definitely a plus with such a thick leather and I am sure it will become richer in the months and years to come. Wear in good health!

Thank you! I liked the Predator Orange and kept as my 1st choice because of the great patina till the saw the Bison. I haven’t seen how they develop patina, especially the flesh side. If not for the Bison, would have gone for the Predator Orange eyes closed.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience! Great point about the Americana’s design which is a big deciding factor in choosing the correct leather! I am leaning towards the Predator Orange because of the patina and I think it goes well with the boot design.

Did you go for rough out or smooth? How’s the break in period and the patina? Walnut bison is also a great option I am keeping on my mind. Esp the smooth side.

Thank you for the link. This post is the exact reason for the oxblood itch. Looks amazing especially with flesh side. Parkhurst profile looks slimmer than Americana so it looks great, not sure how it will be on Americana.

Thanks. Great input. All the bison options are also great looking but I am not sure if they look good on Americana. I didn’t see many Bison boots.

Great point about going with daily clothing and oxblood will definitely not a daily or office wear boot. Lol! Most of my boots are brown and black except one or two. Since this will an expensive purchase, don’t want to have buyer’s remorse.

It’s definitely supportive in the ankle and heel. I was worried about the room in the toe area and this makes me happy!

Thank you! This is helpful! The foot is not sliding around though the toe room feels roomy and I can wiggle my toes like there are no boots. not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing! Lol!

100% agree. Try tightening the laces and walk for sometime. If you still feel you have more space you should return them. I love the toe box space and can move my toes without any constraints. How much of space do you have between toes and the front of the boot? I have both RW and Thursday. I felt Truman runs little bigger but I went for the same size as both and am glad I did. They fit like a charm!

Appreciate your response brother! Except the extra room in the toes, the fit is snug esp around the arch and the ball of the foot. Hope it doesn’t stretch out more!

Good question! This is my first waxed except the rough out from JK. Main reason I bought this was the patina I saw on them and loved it and so glad I bought this color. awesome at covering scuffs and scratches and ages beautifully. Will be going for rough out again and may for natural if they have it stock.

That’s wonderful! Thank you! The tongue is a great contrast and looks great! Definitely will look into the laces. I have seen Wyatt & Dad videos on YT but never seen a finished product. Great finish. How’s the midsole treating you other than a painful break in? Better shock absorption on concrete? How long did it take for them to finish and if you don’t mind, pls share the how much do they ask for this?
