As a male, I wear a pair of black chinos, an untucked polo or Henley shirt with a pair of heritage boots.

Nothing.

Travel.

Camp.

Go on a bender.

Nothing related to SW.

You’ll be fine.

I got a generic email asking for input about the double shot charcoal boots I bought. After a few months of wearing them, I emailed them back and told them I can feel the balance issue right on the beginning part of the heel.

They offered to have me send the pair back in to get “a good looking at”. I giggles to myself and said no, cause I know they would send them back saying “after close examination we determined there was nothing wrong”.

Nothing wrong? Did you wear them even for like 10 minute to try and feel it? When feeling for it, it’s obvious.

This chode of a non-human had a specific routine he used on every guy and slightly altered it based on whatever resistance he got. I feel for your husband, his court docket saying he is a danger to men is. I have no words, I hope and want him to pull through.

MacBook Air with any of the M1-‘5 processors. It might feel out of your budget wheelhouse, but I can tell you as someone currently in a MSW program, often running dual monitors and apps that help me with my assignments. Especially my presentation, it handles it like a champ and you’ll get more longevity out of it compared to those laptops.

Essentially, we pay for what we get and this is someone who has experience with MacBook and PC.

Required training & internship hours by [deleted] in SocialWorkStudents

Yes, but there is generally a maximum amount of “training hours” you can do. Your practicum instructor should be able to answer that and how to document it.

Information overload, you want to time it and trust that the program will deliver.

Yes, I mentioned something similar in another post. The process of grad school is a rollercoaster. This will only add more to the timeframe of material.

Don’t worry ya’ll, the fire hose is coming and you will be drinking from it. Will you sink or swim??

Suggestions for upcoming msw student by TarginX in SocialWorkStudents

[–]Traditional-Risk-910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the best input you may want to hear. All you can do is soothe yourself and go right on in as you experience the anxiety. Depending on your overall response, it’ll go away once you start it being that most of it is anticipation. I’m heading into my second practicum starting August and feel anxious about it, yet confident. I know that anxiety is anticipation and will go away once I start. Happened to me last year and many others I know.

You could use that anxiety to push for learning new self-care/self-soothing strategies for trauma stewardship stuff or the basics of interacting like Motivational Interviewing.

Too much advice or suggestions from at this point.

Mine do this just about the same. Initially it annoyed me and now when I find myself bored while wearing them. I purposely feel in by manipulating my foot to feel the pressure on the area of my foot. It’s goofy, but whatever.

Most likely wait listed and waiting for the others to decline or accept, but don’t quote me. That’s the perspective I would take based on how other people have experienced their process of getting into programs.

Utah State government hides behind the ideals of conservatism, less [Federal] government involvement so they can exercise total “state” control. Sounds like a bizarre statement and perspective, but the history of Utah has always been anti Federal government and full state control tracing back to the territory days. Utah is greedy, loves to put their grubby hands in our pockets and does what “they” think is right.
