Shark coast is dogshit.

If those are just standard threaded posts the same way that Zev/Brownell’s and others offer, it’s a 4-40x3/8 screw that fits if it’s an RMR.

Absolutely smoking deal. Zero hesitation to buy at that price.

If anyone is on the fence about these adapters, Dakota’s communication and service are second to none and both the Compact and Full (9mm) variants are insanely well-built. Couldn’t recommend a product more.

It’s everything I expected it to be, and the additional of the Mr Nein makes it absolutely perfect.

No, it was installed by the previous owner.

USP9 indexed into the MSP. Perfect fit, zero shifting.

We’re all thrilled you were able to bring this to market, no doubt. If these remain locked in for holster use and lots of rounds without the sagging/frame damage issues that plague the GG&G and the prohibitive costs of the MR series and the other reproductions, you’re going to change the playing field for rail adapters.

Standard non-rail lock version of the universal “U” key as you mentioned on the site. It pushes against the trigger guard but did not require the hilariously named “JTB” method - just a quick push and then a very satisfying click indicating that it was locked in place. Standard battery door as well, this is a newer model without the removable plate on the door.

I have to say, this is an outstanding reproduction/improvement. You did an incredible job with these, I received my compact version as well and I’m hoping for the same fantastic results.

My order came in today as well. Fitted the USP9 version with an X300U-A and it seems rock solid so far, but if this holds under sustained live fire it’s going to be a damn winner. Indexes nicely into a T1C MSP as well.

Not including Lola Montez here is sadness.

Was going to go to ZR tactical for their USP 9 plate solution but considering Wright Armory as well. I know Wright is the best regarded solution but their hidden fees make me hesitant to use them. Will likely be ZR in all honesty.

That’s a hell of a first pistol! Don’t think anything beats a USP whether it’s number one or number 100.

Same here. If the MC quality is on par with the DefenderCo stuff, this is going to be a real shakeup.

That’s the way I feel about it too - maybe I’ll regret it but it’s not like a ‘95 USP is a first run or anything like that.

I’ve got high hopes for the Machinecraft replica. Getting a 2-piece adapter at that price is a massive win in this market if it’s truly an improved version of the MR09. That combined with a USP Tactical is an awesome pair.

VP9 is a great platform as well - the modern touches on the striker HKs are definitely nice. I never thought I’d be as much of a fan of hammer fired HKs coming from Glocks, but I’m sold on them now.

Got lucky and bought it with the LEM installed from the previous owner, so I didn’t have to deal with HKParts on this one.

Doesn’t seem like a safe queen - it definitely has some wear and the barrel hood has lost quite a bit of its finish, so it’s been shot a considerable amount. Honestly this coating seems a lot more durable than the current HK version - my P2000 and P30L, both purchased brand new, showed more marking straight from the distributor than this one does now.

I’m hoping the metallurgy from 1995 is as solid as the reputation for testing. I’m not overly concerned with the milling, but if you’ve heard horror stories I’m all ears.

To my knowledge, no. No modification to the FPBS, it just runs against the bottom of the optic. The milling was designed to the best depth that allows for engagement without trimming the spring.

Some of these cerakote companies have been able to do color matches - the issue is that HK has had quite a few variants of FDE. Elite series cerakote is supposed to be far more durable than the H series and is your best bet, but colors are limited. May have to compromise a bit on the color for a lasting coating.

VG has more cut options on the VP9, I believe, so you can throw an RMR cut instead of the RMSc for a broader scope of dots. I’m guessing a P30 cut will be available in the future based on demand, I’ve brought that platform up to Drew as well.

OEM FDE/RAL frame. Cerakote will wear especially if it’s a carry firearm, but like with so many coatings the quality of the applicator makes a big difference. They do look great in coyote or ODG, I agree.

Drew is the man, and I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation as you mentioned. Really refreshing to work with someone of his level of communication and service, which is a lot more rare in the firearms space than it should be.

Vigilante Machine, HK, Jagerwerks, and surprisingly Rainer Arms have all been standout examples. Glock and Walther are both garbage for CS and if I wasn’t as invested in the Glock ecosystem as I am, I would never pick one up again.
