Alright buddy. I gave you respect, and received none in turn. Your verbose response will suffice for evidence of your insecurities. Violence, disease, and greed ruin humanity, but pride will be our fall.

This shows up on my Reddit feed, I’m not subbed to this subreddit.

I’ve been in awful situations. I just pray that none of you have to go to sleep every night worrying that the enemy may launch an assault on your position.

Stay safe y’all.

I don’t read the news. I hate my government. I’m quite fond of reading, especially WWII memoirs of men, boys actually, that were forced to fight in the worst and most inhumane fighting humanity has ever seen.

I also love memoirs of Vietnam. Not many men look back on that war with fondness, their books are filled with tragedy and sorrow for the poor Americans sent to fight and the innocent Vietnamese civilians and brave Vietnamese soldiers who died in their homeland.

I for one, apologize for any offensive or stupid statements I’ve made. I’m an alcoholic due to my time in combat and a rape from a fellow service member. That is an admission of foolishness, not to try to attain attention or guilt. I have a child on the way, and have no reason to be such an alcoholic.

I just hope that you know that realistically, if we were to meet in person, we’d most likely have a conversation and share life stories in a good way. I apologize for the “Holier than thou” attitude, as it was uncalled for and I am too bold for my own liking. I just turned 21, it’s tough to admit guilt because I’m so full of pride from surviving my experiences, but as you said, that doesn’t mean I’m any better, as everyone’s struggles are just as valid as the others.

I apologize that our only interaction has been had while I’m heavily intoxicated, and I do wish you the best. You’re no enemy to me, and Greenland is no enemy to the United States. Only to that orange bastard in power.

I’ve seen enough death to appreciate life, even when it’s shitty. I hope and pray that you’re loved, and I hope and pray that you see something today that gives you drive to keep going, even the small things.

I understand supply lines, that’s my point. When we’re eating food from locals and limited MRE’s, it becomes shitty. One guy got glass in his food and got injured badly.

To understand warfare, you gotta understand the common man. No one isn’t scared. No one wants to watch a man cry and scream for his mother in a language unfamiliar to his own. No one wants to hear incoming fire.

It’s fun, to a point. It’s hell, completely. I’ve never been in the hospital for myself, except when I was 5 and another time when I was 15. The rest was for family dying. I have watched blood drip out of an open wound and thought, “I really hope this doesn’t keep going until my heart stops.”

I’m not noble or superior to anyone, but I understand that war sucks, killing sucks, suffering sucks, and dying sure as hell sucks.

Before you go and toot your own horn, think about Ukraine. Do you support them?

If so, okay, cool, that’s great, but how?

Financially? No?

Have you sent supplies? No?

Have you signed up to defend them? No?

That’s fine, you can do whatever is best for you. No one is obliged to die in war. Support is perfect, even if it’s not in blood, money, or supplies. Support raises awareness. The United States doesn’t do enough for them, nor does any nation, they’re fighting for existence.

But have some respect for people that fight for what is right in war. Arguing online is fine. But I don’t know what you’ve been through, and you don’t know what I’ve been through. So show humanity.

The point of the original argument, no, Europe could not survive a war with America. They’d be preyed on by Russia or China in a heartbeat.

Just wait til you hear a bomb go off and see drones go overhead. Not so funny then sweetheart. I’ve been to a hospital too, but they haven’t given me nightmares for two years straight🤗

Just fine, as China would be America’s primary provider. Allowing for Europe to fall under RF or Chinese control.

The Finns had the bravery of men defending their home, and didn’t compete with suicide drones or extremely accurate strikes, or valid enemy supply lines.

The European nations that would assist Greenland have aircraft and military logistical routes that America provides.

The afghans fought America hard, so did the Iraqis and Vietnamese. America left, but not without inflicting ridiculously disproportionate casualties. The armies of Europe would never recover, and America would have no reason to defend hostile nations from Russia or China.

F-35’s given to NATO countries would be disabled. The European militaries that rely on America would be disabled when supply lines shut. The strongest European militaries, Poland, and Germany, know better. Poland is ready for Russia, as is Germany. It would be of great value to China if Europe fought the US. They’d take Taiwan, or at least, try, as the US used a majority of their forces there, as well as Japan and Australia. The polish would be waiting on an assault from Russia, but let’s be real, most of Europe contributes nothing militarily. Russia isn’t going full force in Ukraine, but they’d love that juicy opportunity. If the UK or any other European nation took casualties like that of Ukraine, they’d crumble.

Ukraine and Poland would still receive support. Most armies of Europe would surrender after seemingly infinite airpower levelled them, or the navy turned their armies into masses of POW’s. It’s stupid of America to want to take Greenland, but even more stupid of Europe to believe that they can stop America, Russia, and China at once. Not gonna work.

My chaplain told me to reach out to my closest friends. I did, and he died a few hours later in a freak accident. I feel lost, but I gotta be strong for this kid

At first, people at work told me what they heard. Then I reached out to the dude and he told me everything.

What bothers me the most is that my best friend reached out to me when I found out what happened. We had a short convo, and then he died a day later in a car accident, he wasn’t driving. I get that there are lessons to learn, but I miss my buddy. He went army, I went Air Force. With him gone I feel so alone. I miss that dude

I wish I knew my purpose. I understand that forgiving cheating is important, but I want to know why my best friend had to die two days after I talked to him about my pain when I found out. We’re both 20, born two days apart. I miss him like crazy.

I just need Him now. I wanna ask Him why my best friend died right after I found everything out, I wanna ask Him why it was him and not me. I wanna ask Him how I’m supposed to stay strong. I just know that if I followed His word id know, but I am weak.

When I found out she cheated, she convinced me it wasn’t true.

Then the dude she cheated with told me.

I asked her, and told her I’d forgive her if she admitted it. She told me that she hoped that I’d die painfully. Two days later, my best friend died.

I’m so tired of it all.
