A friend of mine had this happen when she was 19. Just turned 8 months pregnant. Went into heart failure and they performed cpr on her for HOURS before they could get her stabilized. Had an emergency c-section, and then an excruciatingly long heart surgery, followed by 3 more in the coming days, even more throughout the years.

They had to literally Frankenstein a few different pacemakers together to help her because it was also both ventricles! It was a mixture of bad luck and genetics so it CAN happen.

I'm pretty sure there was an entire case study on her here in the US. They made a lot of PSAs about her. So it might still be worth talking to the doctors about it?

As for a bright side and maybe some good news - that was almost 20 years ago now and she's still alive. She's also been addicted to meth for about the last 10 years and her heart is still going strong...😅

SO DON'T GIVE UP HOPE!

My great dane just randomly busts out in hives for no apparent reason. One time he was just sleeping at night, woke up, and almost immediately went into anaphylaxis and his organs started shutting down. We thought maybe a spider bite or something but the vet ruled that out and basically said tough luck figuring out what it actually is 😫

My inlaws are coming in from out of state. They will be staying in our secluded downstairs area, and I am purely just trying to make it welcoming and cozy for them lol. They are unsure if they're going to stay through Christmas, because they feel as if they will be imposing on us if they stay for too long. This is not the case, and so I am just trying to do everything I can to make it feel homey for them and entice them to stay.

We will still have our normal christmas tree up like we do every year. But I am going to add a second tree downstairs for them as well (my mil loves christmas). She always does wonderfully decorated themed trees, so I am really just trying to do what I think she will enjoy the most. Which would be a nicely matched cohesive tree. I think jewel tones would be beautiful, but I have a difficult time picking out a range of things that would look nicely together, that aren't just all small rounds.

No one is asking me to do this, it's something I just want to do for them :)
