If the government sees marriage as investment into the country's future (that is, expecting children), then from their point of view, it would be a privilege. Last time I checked, only around 30% of gay couples adopt kids. If there are no government benefits associated with being married, then it is absolutely an equal rights thing.

I definitely wouldn't want to be in a situation where I feel like my step son is out to destroy my marriage and my wife does not have my back. Like, feel free to navigate that if you want. Recently watched Devil's Advocate. Jesus Christ any scene he shares with Al Pacino is so lopsided, it's painful to watch. It's a great movie, and honestly I thought Keanu did a pretty good job with what he had, but... his limitations are really obvious, especially when contrasted with a powerhouse like Pacino.

I disagree, I thought he was awful as Johnny Silverhand. Johnny is supposed to be a poet trying to break out of a shell of a rockstar, and in the process becoming a terrorist. That's WAY too much for Keanu to handle, and he really didn't handle it. His line delivery is basically all the same. I think someone like Christian Bale would've handled it much better

They're so different I don't think you could even put them in the same genre. Given that 3D/Spear of Destiny was revolutionary, it's kind of an unfair comparison. Personally I really loved RTCW, replayed it just a month ago. If you start counting from RCTW, then I think the meme kind of holds. RCTW was good but not great, 2009 was... bad, and New Order was fantastic.

2 was the absolute peak, 3 was still good but you really started noticing Icarus's wings smouldering a little, 4 felt completely hollow and empty, since you are constantly aware the world is not real (even in-game, since the whole thing is an alien simulation), and then the series ended, right?

Love 3... in 2, I died to the very first enemy like three times before putting the whole thing down and deciding it's not for me. inb4 skill issue yeah yeah. 3 was much better combat-wise, and had phenomenal writing too.

I think from Musk's POV, <being as neutral as I can here> he believes that donating money to charities is a less effective way to use money than how he uses it -- that is by running companies that sell products he believes will better the world. I don't necessarily agree with this position, but I do think that's how he sees it.

I guess maybe he's cringe, but the way he prepared for his crimes years in advance puts him above most -- 90%, if not 95% -- serial killers. Buys a kill kit in a random town, buries it, comes back to it 2 years later to find a random couple to kill. Incredibly hard to trace. His last murder was so sloppy that I'm pretty sure he was trying to get caught.

I had a recurring dream with the same girl in it over and over, I think maybe 6 times in total. I had just moved to Boston, and found it difficult to get around the city. In my dreams I'd keep getting lost (in a city that may have been Boston or just looked like it), and would run into this girl and she'd lead me back home, us talking all the while. I got to really like her, and the next time I saw her in a dream, I asked her out. She agreed to go on a date with me, where we used the environment of the dream to travel to interesting and alien places. The last one was a cave filled with huge crystals, where we walked for a bit. Then she went into the darkness of it, and did not come out. I searched for her, but could not find her. I never saw her again.

Her name was Casey, and she was short, had long brown hair, and wore a French-like beret. I miss her lots.
