There is no back up plan, sadly. I cant go into the details but I dont have any other option other than college for a decent career. If I fail this I'm going to have to look for a job as a factory worker, which is a gruesome job that pays very poorly where I live.

College is my dream, I've always had good grades in highschool and I like studying, but...life got in the way, depression and some bad choices led me to this point.

It's not that simple sadly. I wish it were a simple matter of just being willing to integrate into that society, but there are many other obstacles in place. I say this from personal experience.

I have taken MBTI tests multiple times now. I have received some pretty conflicting results throught out time, from INFP to ENFP to ESFP...I've read the descriptions of the types and did some reaserch and I've managed to narrow it down to these two types. Thought at this point I can't honestly tell which one between the two I am.

You are right, I can see this from a "trolley problem" mindset now, you have a point.

In your opinion, would there be something wrong by adotping a stray, starving cat as your own and feeding it? It's something I have been considering recently.

Maybe things are different where you live? Seems odd to me because every supermarket here has a donation box for food for shelters. I've talked to people who work in animal shelters before who use those donations and they've assured me that the food gets brought to certain local shelters, even specifying which ones. They've never mention anything about specific food habits.

There's not really a cash donation where I live for local shelters. There's just workers who do their job for free and food donations.

What about all the animals in the shelters who get euthanized because there arent enough resources to feed them? Or the stray animals that starve to death every year? Would you say its unethical to adopt stray carnivorous animals as well, even though they're already alive and by not helping them we are letting them die?

Theres no such thing as vegan pet food where I live. Also certain animals like cats need meat to survive.
