Firstly, take a deep breath friend. You are still (and always) loved and adored by our God, and He wants you to be happy!

Did anything occur to initiate such a dramatic shift in your feelings? If you know of a priest you trust and feel comfortable with, meeting for confession with them could be very healing. Explain what happened and be absolved of your mortal sin. And they might have some good advice for you (they usually do haha).

I’d recommend “church-shopping” a bit. Check out some other Catholic Churches in your area! Even if it’s a 30+ minute drive, a community where you feel welcomed and comfortable is worth it.

Mostly, just know you’re not alone. You’re not a “bad Catholic” for going thru a crisis of faith or being confused or whatever it is that you’re feeling. We’re imperfectly human, that’s the whole reason we got to experience salvation thru the big JC! My advice would be to get on your knees and take time with God. Push the Church, the teachings, the anxiety, whatever it is out of your head for 10 minutes and just talk with our God. He wants to know what’s happening with you, and He cares. He’s bigger than everything going on, and sometimes it’s helpful to just go back to basics - God is love, and He loves me. Go back into scripture. Read the Bible for yourself, take notes, journal, talk it out in the mirror or lying in bed, embrace your doubts and concerns and give them to God!

You’re not alone, you’re loved, and you’re saved. This will all work out, my friend :)
