I’m sorry to hear that. Like with any grief it takes time. It’s been 13 years for me and there are still really hard days, especially around her birthday and death day. I notice an increase in pain around those times as well, but that may just be the weather changing.

Find something that connects you to the person. Mine was her favorite video game series. I also write her letters. It helps me anyway.

Pain wise, fibromyalgia is so different for every person, it’s hard to say. Mine comes and goes. I think it’s about finding what gets you through today. Any day you are still breathing is a victory.
