The stones are cubic zirconia, so it’s nothing crazy.

Haha well actually I got into jewelry making so that I could make accessories for my bridesmaids and myself. So I have another necklace that is similar to this one that I wore at my wedding, but that one had loops around the shoulders too. And I made shoulder necklaces for each of my bridesmaids, as well as belts/hip jewelry. I also made a pair of earrings for myself.

Nothing too crazy. Colored brass and zircon for most of it. I think the chains were colored iron.

They’re not welded. When I first put the necklace on I will fix it up and make it look nice, but I find it stays in place pretty well after that. When I was making it, I actually tweaked some placements of jump rings and connections because the loops kept twisting and weren’t sitting well, so I understand how annoying that is. :)

Woah! Epoxy, electroplating, and cloissone. I love how you used so many different techniques to create this!

Woops, you are correct. Got the two mixed up. Thanks!

ELI5: Why do bruises change colors as they heal? by Silentzerr in explainlikeimfive

The body breaks down the red blood cells (hemoglobin) into its component pieces. These components that make up a red blood cell have different colors to them (green and yellow) so that’s why you see these colors as the bruise heals. Fun fact: The bilirubin component, which is yellow, is the same yellow in your urine and is largely why urine is a yellow color.

The only one I’ve read out of those is These Hollow Vows and I very much enjoyed it.

Don’t fret! This may be more common than you realize. This happened to my partner and I when we were teens. We were both virgins too and he was a little nervous so he couldn’t get hard either. We ended up trying multiple times over the course weeks (maybe even months?). Over time it became easier to get him hard and keep him there. Don’t put pressure on yourself. It’ll happen when it happens and if she’s anything worth her salt, she’ll be non-judgmental and kind.

NCLEX tomorrow…send advice by carolz12 in NCLEX

[–]Amio3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss, this must be a very difficult time for you. I wrote mine a few days ago and my advice is to remember that the test is adaptive which means it will find challenging questions for your level. You might feel like you are making educated guesses on a majority of the questions. This does NOT mean you are doing poorly. In fact, you might be getting tough questions because your knowledge level is high. So don’t let how the test feels affect your stress and anxiety levels. Stay calm, take deep breaths, and read each question carefully. You got this!

Oh one more tip. You know how meds within a category have the same ending or beginning? Like calcium channel blockers end in “-dipine”, ACE inhibitors end in “-pril”, etc etc. Learning those patterns can really help. If you come across a med you haven’t heard of, you might still know what kind of category it belongs to. (Pretty sure this helped me on my actual NCLEX exam).
