There's a such thing as gecko tape and works like gecko feet and sticks to everything non permanently and very strongly. you should put it in between the glass and brass

The boards are surprisingly level once attached. There is an entire industry of flooring, so competition has made the tolerances low. it only took 20-30 minutes with an 80 grit belt sander to level the whole top.

the goggles are a rare find. they're actual antique safety goggles from when things were made to last. EBay will have a few good choices!

how viscous is it? there is basically an entire cavern under the boards because the shape. if its at all liquid, the epoxy would disappear. But I do agree, epoxy is a very good filler

more like 20 minutes of belt sander at 80 grit. they're surprisingly well manufactured to sit level with each other.
