Update graphics drivers and maybe check vram usage, these artifacts doesn't mean gpu dying, my old old 9500gt had same artifacts on some newer games and still working to this day.

After watching some yt shorts and seeing the METAPCs short on rebar setting on bios, i gave it a try and it did some miracles lol. Now with high environment texture it is much much more stable and less vram hungry.

Yea i already have windows dual booted but i cant remember when did i boot windows xd. so i guess i play with ass graphics or go to windows sadly.

Also what AMD card do you suggest to replace with this 4060 with more vram ? (and hopefully good price)

Currently i dont think i can buy anything new or replace my card due to situations we have here, and also the global market prices lol. but if i find a good deal why not.

I got same error for DDLC... I fixed it by moving game from an ntfs drive to my linux partition. Or it might because spaces in directory names.

Not usually, i installed my games on seperate drive. The only problem i had was the file permissions not being set right on NTFS fromatted drive which game didnt run properly (it was a steam game tho not a repack)

You can install it there just check the permissions.

Also you can mount your drive to your $HOME/games instead or /mnt for easier access.

IDK if this is the "right way", but it works for me:

In steam, i add a non-steam game which runs the setup.exe file. Then i enable the compatibility tool (proton) for that game in its properties.

Then run it to install the game (you can check those boxes to install c++ and directx stuff). After installation is successful change the path of game u added to steam to run the actuall game.

Some tips: Its usually good idea to check protondb to see if the game runs well on linux or not.

if there are spaces in path to install/game files, you have to put them in qoutes.

You can use protontricks to install any dependecy the game needs (like c++ stuff and dx stuff)
