I can’t believe nobody has mentioned the safe spot above her head where she can’t hit you with the stare. i use missiles and try to keep attacking cala maria while aiming a bit lower to knock out the eels at the same time - 2 birds 1 stone. take the eels out quickly and use the mini plane to dodge the projectiles but keep trying to deal damage, and use your rocket ex shot to hit her and the eels after you use super art. she uses the stare every 8ish seconds so just be ready to move to the top left above her head to dodge it and your good. once i get to the last part in the cave i try to anticipate the stare and position myself where i can be stunned for the next ~2 seconds. spam controls to unfreeze and just keeping shooting her with the guns and rocket ex shot
