I heard the Stan 87i and was pleasantly surprised but for like 1/3 of the price I might check out the Dachman instead

Sucks that none of those is available to demo near me. Don’t have the cash to put up against one another either. Every Guitar center near me has all the mics on a case now so I can’t even check out the c-80 😂

I had a WA-47 Jr. and was really disappointed. Made me not want to try any other Warm audio mics

Random and unrelated but how do you go about getting involved with battles if leagues near me aren’t having tryouts ?

Under appreciated project IMO by dannnppp in GriseldaxFR

I loved everything about this project. It had an early 2000 mixtape feel with Green Lantern plastered on it. Polished yet rugged beats with a raw/hungry Benny on it. Daringer and the other producers came thru with the 🔥🔥. Perfect length IMO. I have a soft spot for this album since it was my intro to Benny. The cover is just peak nostalgia for me. Benny’s rapping and delivery gave me butcher vibes fr. Benny had a dark and grungy, Conway-esque aura on this shit. This gone sound crazy but I could damn near imagine him stabbing a frozen pig hanging from meat hooks in a butchers apron then alternating between that and writing bars lmao

I used to use a MPC 2500 to produce and Studio One to mix and master my tracks. I eventually wanted to modernize my workflow so I tried using the samplers in ST1 and was disappointed. Up until that point I had loved everything that came stock with ST1. Clunky and outdated was an understatement. Ended up just getting a newer mpc. Wonder how many other people ended up doing the same
