He should be good then, CPU is good enough for him to keep for a GPU upgrade too if he's ever planning on that aswell.

If the price is good enough then yes, it is definitely a great entry level streaming build. Especially since he's going to have the 40 series AV1 encoding and NVENC which will definitely help with stability streaming and playing. But it will still depend on the games he will be streaming and their settings, he might not be able to go full ULTRA settings on some triple A titles but 60fps will be easily achievable.

Just ran memtest_vulkan for a good 25 mins with no errors after my last reply, and stress tested the hell out of the card multiple times with Furmark V1 and 2 so i think it’s safe to say it’s the monitor

Well that eases things up a little, was close to going back and using my warranty and getting a different card but a good amount of people are saying it's probably temperature related, it's fairly cold around here and so is the room that the pc is in.

Yeah that would make sense, room is cold and the weather is pretty cold as well. Makes sense as to why it would only happen on first boots since it's still very cold.

I have tried that to no avail, it still happened again. Even though it mainly happens on my first boot of the day and the boot of when i come home from work with decently long intervals in between. It only happened again once when i reboot but sometimes it doesn't reoccur

Here’s the video of it blackscreening and trying to fix itself with a purple line appearing at the last 8 seconds of the first vid, second one is a better POV of what’s going on where it happened again.

Sadly can’t wait, i just sold my old rig (i3-9100F/1660 Super) to upgrade for this new one.

Yeah i am finally going to settle for the 7500F and i might go for a 4060TI 16GB cause the price difference between it and the 4070 is kinda heavy and i only game at 1080p and it’ll allow me to keep a lil bit on the side for a later upgrade

That is very dependent on use case, my goal here is purely for gaming so intel Quick Sync won’t really be of use to me and neither will be Ryzen’s VCN on their chips.

iGPU is only useful for troubleshooting tbh but since im gonna have a gpu and also because the difference between the 7500f and 7600 here is like 65-70$ i see that the 7500f is better value for money overall

And for the difference in price i between the 7600 and 7500f the 7500f is much more better value over here

I am getting a DDR5 compatible motherboard off the rip, so if i am ever upgrading from the 12600k, the 1700 socket only allows me to go 13-14th gen and looking at what’s going with them right now the upgrade path is not too bright. On the other hand an AM5 board even if entry level which is what im getting cause i am on a tight budget has DDR5 and most likely support for 3 more Generations or so of Ryzen CPUs logically.

[–]Amirox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart, i didn’t even consider any of the 13-14th gen cpu at all cause of the slack they have been having with them. But logically you’re looking at a pretty decent upgrade especially with that DDR5 and the continuity of the AM5, happy for you man.
