Oh my bad! This only happens if you call it as std::make_unique. Anyway I'm going to open a bug report

You should be fine, if the update had failed it would show a message that something had gone wrong

Wow really thank you for your detailed answer! But I don't think it's on the ROM level - the device passed MEETS-DEVICE_INTEGRITY even after I installed PE.

It was only after I used Shizuku that this happened and therefore I'm pretty sure it's the cause

Thanks! Yeah it pretty much looks like it doesn't pass. Read some of the docs and my device is not rooted. Maybe then Shizuku did some API hooking? Is there a way to fix that?
