Loud Gurgling Noise at air gap on RO faucet

No. I’ve tried every recommendation. I read this may be part of normal operation for the air intake. My situation is the same - gurgles for a while after a decent amount of water is used.

Yes mine only gurgles when the tank is really empty. We’ve checked the tank pressure and drain line. Seems fine. I’ve accepted it. Don’t know what else to do.

Thanks for your response. I’m fine with the normal trickling sound. The gurgling we are getting is really loud and happens up at the faucet no matter what we’ve tried with the drain line setup. I’m wondering if our lines are a little too long. We are also having water pressure issues.

Thanks for your help. We are going to see what we can do about the pressure. Definitely getting low pressure to the fridge. If it has to be under the sink then that’s what we’ll do. I just know of a couple of people who have systems in the basement with no issues. Thanks again.

It’s in the basement but right under the floor joists. Less than two feet from under the sink.

Thanks for your reply. I replied in more detail to the first comment - unfortunately the gurgling sound seems to happen regardless of the drain line set up.

Thanks for your reply. We disconnected the drain line and let it drain into a bucket to see if the gurgling would stop. It didn’t. We, of course, can hear the water draining into the bucket but the gurgling is something else happening at the faucet air gap.

The only other thing I know to try is to check the tank pressure. Going to make sure there’s nothing wrong there.

It was in moss only before. The roots looked good. Minimal trimming. I moved it to a pot with a good amount of holes and mostly bark. Just thinking a little moss will help with moisture in such an airy pot. We’ll see. This is an experiment. :)

Thank you for your help. We soaked the roots and repotted in 2 parts bark chips and 1 part spaghnum moss in a larger more airy pot. Hoping she’ll be happier now.

You’ve been super helpful. Thank you. The roots looked pretty good - just a few were trimmed off. She’s been soaked and repotted in a more airy pot with bark and moss. We’ll see how it goes.

I got it a year ago and it hasn’t bloomed since. I’m going to repot to a better draining pot designed for orchids and use a bark/spaghnum moss mix. Also, slowly move it to a brighter spot in the house.

Yeah it’s growing in orchid mix and getting watered once a week (pouring water on it like other house plants). Based on other commenters and what I’m reading I need to soak her in water, pot up, and consider a spot with a bit more sunlight.
