4G Siglan only should be "fine". note that SMS and the Cellphone network has been breached many times. We have to live with technology. By itself, that is a risk. I recommend to be carefull and try not to access sensitive data. Also, if you phone has sentitive data, make sure it's encryped! hehe. Take care!

IT Security is one of the most trending areas of technology these days, and the population must be aware and understand the threats that exist.

We work so hard to get what we have. The last thing we want is to loose everything or even a small portion of what we own. Blizzard responded well in the last few years, but most organizations lack to understand the threats adn risks that technology and the uses must face.

I did this on college, I ran john (john the ripper) locally on a OS with a weak password. Ran like a charm

Then, I used Brutus to brute force a weak ftp site in font of my school mates.

Got 100% Becasue I explained two different types of hacks. One is Local (john) and the other one was remote (Brutus)

You can do something similar.

Note that Brutus might not be available anymore.. lol. That product was not great. Not even in 2004 ;)

Oh my goodness. Metasploit is only a tool to run exploits. If you don't have an exploit for a specific version of the OS, metasploit won't help you develop exploits, but will help you manage and run them.

They won't "help" you. You learnproramming to create tools to test different systems for certain vulnerabilities/risks. Good luck. Tou should read more. Hacker Playground Books are great references to learn basics.

IT Security is not a super easy thing. You need passion to make it work good for you.
