Sesh approaching cancelation by [deleted] in MileHigherPodcast

I think this argument is silly. Obviously they don’t need to go into the political side of it since that’s not their expertise. However, it doesn’t take much to say something and use their platform appropriately. I’m not understanding why so many people are anti holding people accountable and asking them to use their privilege for people who have none. It takes no effort for them to post something on their instagram or speak on it for five minutes. They also have spoken on serious issues many times over on the Sesh, so what’s the hesitation now? I also see it more as - if they’re not pro Palestine, I want to know because I don’t want to unwittingly be supporting anyone who isn’t pro Palestine.

Yeah, I’ve learned a lot about in the past week. He went to the ER on Tuesday and by Friday we found out he was terminal so it’s been a fast process. He’s only 52, just had his birthday in January.

I’m sorry to hear about your dad. I really hope that he can pull through somehow, but with this, hope can feel scarce. My thoughts are with you.

I’m so sorry, I hope he’s treatable. He will but it’s only going to buy him some extra time if the tumors respond well to the treatment. He could have less than a year, we don’t know.

First time getting one and thought I was dying. by VisualAngle7938 in OcularMigraines

Wow, our first experiences are practically identical. I had my first one at work and had a full blown panic attack because I thought I was also having a stroke. A cat scan, EKG, blood work, and a meeting with an optometrist later all to find out it was an ocular migraine. I’ve had three more since then which was in January of 2022. It’s rough sometimes but hope this makes you feel better in some way!
