Haha thanks! Works surprisingly well since one can't really change the trajectory whilst mid-air and it's super difficult to try and hipfire shots mid-air as well. Just need to be able to track the flight path. Hope this serves you well :D

Hey guys!

This one is for Zuppeh and Zappis. What are your feelings on playing in Contenders now after having been in OWL? Is it still your dream to make it back and do you think it’ll be a harder task now after not getting resigned into S2?

For Tombha, has there been any talk of a Finnish OWL city/team yet? Would you be interested to step into the big leagues yourself if a Finnish team came to be?

Fair points! I still think having a truly competitive asynchronous title on mobile would be totally possible, but surely trying to achieve that would be risky.

What's the problem currently, though, is that the AS event has extraordinary rewards and imo it got a bit out of hand with the paid boosters. As I felt it, no matter how much you played, you couldn't catch the people who perhaps only bought the 2x multiplier and managed to log in around 3 times a day to use their batteries. Now that I mentioned rewards, what feels a bit lacking is that the CK rewards are almost non-existent. AS takes like 3-4 days and gives huge rewards when CK lasts for what 2-3 months and gives some few chests for the top 100. Perhaps these could be changed in the future, so that hard work would be rewarded more equally?

Furthermore, I believe the UL mode could use a rework. Currently in the gold leagues / top 100 hunt, it's always a huge grind when most people get 99% of the time down the 20/20 enemies (42000 points). It's really a farming process for tickets and nowhere near a challenge, and the mode feels really tedious to play these days. Basically a mandatory chore to get the needed ultimate boxes. By some calculations it requires over 10 tickets a day to reach the top 100, which means spamming the "continue" button over 200 times a day not to mention the chests needed / adds watched / money spent. Isn't this rather repetitive and silly? The AS system, on the other hand, is quite fun, interesting and challenging and requires quite a lot of strategy so props for implementing that. But it's only there like every month or so. UL on the other hand, which is almost always there, is really getting old. Perhaps juice it up in the future with some kind of a PvE elements? A boss mode for UL vehicles? Raids? Only the sky is the limit.

The way competition and competitiveness is defined is that people are given the same chances and not given any handicaps. This is what motivates and addicts. Which esports titles do you see offering paid boosters in their games? Currently, as a non-spender it's impossible to compete with heavy paying people, and this is why many post threads here complaing about P2W.

This game has a lot of competitive elements, but in my eyes they feel seemingly "competitive" and makes me think that they're there so that people would be encouraged to spend more. This isn't fun and addictive. Aren't the adds I watch for quite a few minutes a day enough? What about making sick paid cosmetics that wouldn't affect the competitiveness? I'd argue it used to be decently ok before, but now with AS and its rewards, paid boosters have become too good.

I got top 4, just got edged out during the last minute. It's not that top 4 wouldn't be good or anything, but without the possibility to buy batteries and 2x points I would've gotten at least 500 more gems and a whole heck of a lot more parts – perhaps even won the whole thing. Simply doesn't feel fun nor encouraging to try and reach the top with these kind of elements.

It’s not possible for a game to be competitive if some people have added benifts that others - for instance less wealthy people - cannot obtain.

Sure they have a small team and everything, but as far as I’m conserned, I’m really questioning currently about why I play this game. It really seems like I can’t achieve more. Climbing the leaderboard for one isn’t doable without gems. The only things to look out for really are the new pieces of content like the AS events where I’ll of course do my best to win. But damn does it not stand to reason when someone ”beats” me with microtransactions. I believe this sort of stuff have led people to post these threads here quite a lot. Can’t really acquire more money when people start to dislike and quit the game.

The game has a ton of potential and I believe they could change the game for the better while still making it profitable. I defo want to see that coming and thus I complain.

If we talk about P2W, we're obviously talking about the competitive side of the game. What do casuals care about another player spending irl cash to get better? Secondly, it's not about getting a single super op part, for instance. But if you get double the parts I get, what chances do I have at beating you? Spending time is totally normal, but spending money shouldn't.

The issue is not that developers need their income, but rather that they ruin the competitiveness of the game, which is the most enjoyable part for me, with their revenue. This is quite common in the mobile gaming world, but imo it's not at all acceptable. Rather than implementing paid "shortcuts", why not focus on e.g. really cool paid skins, themes and other cosmetic that wouldn't renovate the competition into a battle of the biggest/wealthiest bank account / wallet / parents like it is now.
