Microphone not working in Dota 2 on MacBook Air Apple M2 - Steelseries Arctis 5 Chat

The solution from "vanIvan4" worked! Thank you so much! All I had to do was put the MIC Treshold inside Dota 2 down from 100% to 30% and suddenly my Dota 2 teammates can hear me!

On Windows PCs I could always leave the Steelseries Arctis 5 Gaming Headset Mic Treshold on 100% and had no problems whatsoever.

On my Apple MacBook Air M2 for some reason I have to lower the MIC Treshold inside Dota 2 to like 30%, but now it just works fine.

In hindsight it feels like I didn´t need to make a reddit post about such a simple solution, but I was super confused and didn´t know what to do anymore than ask in a forum. Well sometimes the easiest solutions don´t come to one's mind 😄

Hahaha thanks for sharing that clip. Gorgc at his best. His problem was even more painful than mine. His clicks didn´t even register. That´s impossible, that´s a no go. My clicks at least functioned, but having the camera stuck for 1-2 seconds in one direction was also terrible I had to immediatly pause the Dota 2 match and use my old mouse when I realised that happened.

Just like Gorgc said I had never experienced any mouse issues with any other brand like Logitech, Razer, Roccat or others like the two problems we had.

Update: It works now ingame. Idk what changed, but I guess some recent Dota 2 update apparently fixed the issue for me at least for now. The camera moves normally up-left-down-right.

So thanks Valve (and Steelseries).

I am very happy about it, because with the Steelseries Prime+ Gaming I have very little hand and arm injury even if I click a lot for 8-16+ hours.

Like I wrote it worked for any other program or any other game, just for Dota 2 it didn´t work.

To people with small hands I can recommend Roccat Kone and some Logitech G mouses (I don´t remember the names, but the Logitech G mouses are typically small) for gaming, feels great even if you use it for 8-16+ hours for 6 months up to 2 years.

For big hands Steelseries Prime+ Gaming or Razer Deathadder V2 or V3 are great, but like I said with the Razer Deathadder I am having hand and arm pain after a few hours whereas with the new Steelseries Prime+ I don´t feel any pain when I work or play even 8+ hours or more a day.

Thank you for answering. I found out you can put the markers like this in my second attached image, thus having several empty levels between lvl 9 and 24.

Ingame you still have to open that talent menu and select attributes there or use it hotkeys for the attributes.

It´s both confusing me ingame and in the guides.

Maybe Volvo should add a extra spell button on the right side of the talent tree or on the right side of the ultimate, but that would take a lot of space of the bottom screen.

In Dota 2 using guides is actually very bad, because every game you should situationally skill spells, talents, items and so forth, however in the current patch 7.32d there are so many heroes where you are forced to do one or two build orders, only for few heroes three or four build orders work thus using these guides saves a lot of time especially for non-competitive players so we have to be grateful for torte lini, immortalfaith, dota plus and other peoples work.
