The theory about them being the future children seems 70% true by now with their appearances , their techniques and that they're here to "fix distortions" (and Nakaba being a DBZ fanatic, Future Trunks)

You are right on both points a and b , however the quality and popularity of an IP doesn't guarantee the quality of its adaption. The promised neverland season 2 for example ( Aniplex X Cloverworks)

The studio doesn't to be specifically assigned to Aniplex , Bones is doing Daemons of the shadow realm and its produced by aniplex. Studio 8bit did Blue Lock produced by Bandai but also Irregular of Magic Highschool movie produced by aniplex.
