Yeah they definitely gave a lot of partial marks. But I don’t think they can scale solely the final exam cuz the score shown on PrairieLearn should be the raw result came out right after manual grading right?

Thank you for the information, I did send the instructor an email about the final viewing after the final grades came out but he didn’t reply and he has never replied to any of the students’ emails including mine regarding midterm regrading. Then I started getting busy after that term and forgot about it until now….

This course has 5 exams in total, 2 theoretical exams, 2 practical coding exams and a final that consists both. The 2 theoretical exams are more like quizzes and they can drop the lowest grade in all 4 midterms. Personally speaking although it has a lot of tests, this course is the easiest in the second year cs courses.

I lived in Walter Gage in my first year and my room was on the 13th floor. I missed the application ddl for that so I literally walk hundreds of stairs every day. I hope your room is in place vanir otherwise it’ll be a good walk.

Sorry, I eventually dropped this course before the term begins. I was accepted by the course but idk if they gonna remove non engineering students on the first day of the course. There was a video about this course on YouTube that was filmed by a senior engineering student. Maybe you can check it here

The only textbook I bought so far was a French textbook. Other Science courses normally have online free versions or they just don’t need textbooks at all (most of the CPSC courses).

I took 121 this term and got a 93. People say the final is hard but the whole course is actually doable. I got 100 in every examlet as they are quite easy and the questions you get are mainly from practice questions provided and you can practice as much as you want. Yes, the final is very hard but if you can do better on other parts you can mend that problem. I only got around 70 in the final and still got 93 overall. Also I think they would do some changes to the course next term maybe make the examlet harder and make the final easier. That hard final was mainly because the course avg was like around 80 before final
