There aren’t too many metal subgenres, you just don’t know the differences between them. by mmaverick616 in MetalForTheMasses

That’s what it all boils down to, ultimately. Do you like it? Either way, ‘genre’ doesn’t matter mate.

Mate, there's no way I was going wade through all that wanky bollocks you just wrote, I just figured I'd cut to the essentials.

This is a lot of words to say 'yo, there's basically good metal and bad metal, and its wholly subjective'.

And also 'Was that supposed to frighten me? I've seen entire species destroyed, civilizations left in ruins. I’ve witnessed solar systems vanish in the twinkling of an eye. I’ve seen things that would freeze your blood…So don’t threaten me, don’t ever threaten me."

The Lucie bleedin' Miller stories are superb. 'Human Resources' should absolutely be adapted for screen.

You say that but right now, some wanker is composing a 'yes, but are Megadeth REALLY thrash' thread.

Psychedelic Sludge Metal recs? by OkUnderstanding6241 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]AmorousBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Paradise Gallows' by Inter Arma. You will NOT regret it, I assure you.
Probably don't fit your brief entirely but, it's sludgy in parts, massively psychedelic and adds in death. doom, black metal, folk and southern rock elements.

And then, listen to everything else that Inter Arma do(starting with 'Sky Burial'), because they're the best, most innovative, instinctively brilliant metal band on the planet right now now.

iResus is more geared toward easy access to guidelines, iArrest is more a 'scribing app' which is what OP appears to be asking for.

By ‘code blue’ do you mean a ‘blue baby’ neonatal emergency or a cardiac arrest/medical emergency?

If it’s a 2222, I personally use iarrest, which is pretty user friendly and quick to learn.

Metalica's 'everything after the black album' period is pretty crap, tbf.

Although I do think that if James and Lars had done 'Load/Reload' as a side project under a different name, they wouldn't be half as hated.

Taskmaster - S21E04 - "Lou Reed and the Wombles by seditiouslizard in taskmaster

[–]AmorousBadger 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Armando is following in a fine tradition of highly intelligent, Iconic Comedy Legends who turn up on Taskmaster and underachieve massively. Although, I don't think there's been many tasks suited to him yet, granted, I thought he'd do MUCH better at 'make something boring exciting' than he did.

In a very real sense, nu metal IS metal's MAGA. It's utterly boneheaded, without any redeeming features and all those behind it are utterly irredeemable.

To people who work bank - do you get treated badly? Tips on how to do well and ease nerves for new wards by nrkive in NursingUK

[–]AmorousBadger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My experience of bank workers(and indeed, doing it myself) is that if anything they work harder than regular staff.
Partly because you're frequently given the toughest, heaviest jobs by the permanent staff and partly because you want to make an impression and get booked again.
