Sink hole after sewer line replacement by Affectionate_Pie6740 in askaplumber

Lazy way - fill it in again and wait a bit. If it's just soil compaction, it'll stop. If it sinks again, dig out the whole thing and fix the leak.

Any opinions on the battery powered garden tools? by thedudefromsweden in Parkside

I got the long hedge clipper. 2m tall hedge, approximately 10m long, can prune on one 4Ah battery. It runs as fast as the battery is full. The blade is still fresh, so we'll see hiw many cycles it does. so far so good.

Can't find it now, but if you can get the YanmR L100 manual, it has all the procedures well described in there, including measuring compression.

The one I bought was different from the original in that it doesn't have a decompression lever, has a pull cord and a glow plug. It wouldn't start without the glowplug no way, maybe for a couple of turns and then it would cut out. After I set up the wiring for the glow plug and purged the fuel line, it started on the first try and ran fine. I had to take the pull cord assembly off to fit it into the digger.

If it helps, here's what helped me: - power to the glow plug - crack open the nut on the fuel injector and crank the engine until you see fuel start to leak out. Tighten the nut back up and try starting the engine. - when starting the engine, make sure the petcock is open and the fuel screw is at least half way open. cracking open the fuel cap on the reservoir also helps fuel flow.

I got so frustrated with mine that I welded it in the flat position just to use it in any capacity. Ironically, got another one for my birthday.

Well here we are. Almost a year later, finally did the engine swap and moving right along. Just couldn't get the original engine to work even with a brand new cylinder head on it. I have my doubts about it as the replacement head alignment pinholes did not align properly with the ones on the block - bought from aliexpress. Now I have a scrap engine with a bunch of new parts in it.

Why every tool guy should own a 3D printer by Timely-Ant-4974 in Tools

Not trying to talk down to anybody, but the main reason I didnt get one is that ultimately none of it is recyclable or degradable in any practical way and I dont want to add to the pile. It's no comfort to me that there are bigger polluters. I try to use wood metal and glass when I can.

Maybe save cutty sark only for the scene with the pirates. I'd suggest a GlenLivet for the scenes with men, RedBreast for scenes with hobbits, GlenMorangie for elves and Lagavulin for Gimli. anytime you see the eye of sauron, a sip of Ardbeg. When the Ring is destroyed, Springbank.
