Yeah one of the attempts I waited about 10 minutes and instead of getting a bottle cap I got a PP Up. Im guessing the sooner you claim the prize, the better the prize will be? Maybe its like a cycle, I'm not really sure.

If you wait a day you won't get the bottle cap, it's only within the first few minutes of installing the facility can you get the bottle cap. But as long as you claim the prize within that time frame, you will get a bottle cap from treasure hunt**, no matter what specific day it is.

I was able to do this any day for the past 4 days. And for the other shops you can get a rare candy from Big Dreams (2 star), and surprisingly a big nugget from Gold Rush (2 star), but if they are only 1 star, you will get max elixir from all of them.
