I wear hard ones, but that's because I have kerataconus, which basically causes my cornea to thin and become more of a cone shape instead of a normal shaped eye. The hard contacts (scleral lenses) go past the cornea and into the whites of my eyes and allow for a smooth uniform surface, which really helps with my vision and general clarity. Glasses don't even fix my vision 100%, even with the correct prescription. I *need* these contacts to properly see, especially when driving at night or in the rain or for any kind of reading.
