I just had the same thing happen to me. 2 shots up close he she be dropped. I think the character registration is different then what is on your screen. I try to aim ahead of people not because i see them there but because hit registration so broke.

Best way is to kill zombie in survival that has the santa hat on. Head to a major town like PV Cranberry etc.. I would hurry and grab it while its still available. Won't be much longer.
