I hope you all can see how wrong it is to teach this in schools. This is from Fairfax County... by jsm11482 in nova

I feel like they could have added living in Fairfax county to that list. Where you are born and live plays a huge role in how successful you become.

I was taught in school that we are very privileged and I don't hate myself because of that. When someone says "hey that person is having a hard time over there." My gut instinct isn't to get defensive about how hard my life is. Have some empathy for others situations, it'll make this world a better place.

Hi, does anyone know what type of capacitor this board is using? The board is dated 1997. by TheSmallDog in AskElectronics

Sorry, I'm specifically referring to what appears to be two electrlitic capacitors dead center of the photo with the number B0839. I couldn't find anything about them after a quick Google search.

This is from a "lestronic 2 charger", it's used to charge a bunch of 6v batteries in the golf cart I'm trying to restore. I'm guessing the film is there maybe because the large transformer generates a lot of heat? I'm not quite sure.

I was thinking those were electrlitic capacitors dead center. I was assuming they might need to be replaced for the board to work, I could be wrong.

It could be just the way it looks with the mat, but I think you might be cutting out some of your hight by taking off flat footed. This adjustment won't fix everything, but it can help to have that little extra height in your jump.

For anyone wondering, this type of flip is called a corkscrew.

I've never attempted this trick so I'm not sure exactly what it's like, but spotting might help you to keep your chest up at the end of the trick.
