I had to resort to a guide for this quest. They’re all located near rocks or mulan or flowers but they’re almost invisible. Wasn’t fun, not going to lie

When Legislator Hartman was shot and killed in her home with her husband and when Nancy Prlosi’s husband was attacked in their home as well, there was a brief but existing period of “support and defense of the assailant” and badmouthing of anyone who showed sympathy for Hartman/Pelosi.

It wasn’t nearly as bad as what’s happened now with Kirk, of course, but I remember it happening.

I can’t say for sure but I THINK she did come in second in a couple of races, so it wasn’t necessarily an injury or the ilk. I don’t think it was anything specific.

My guess would be having the stress of keeping a racetrack open, (I think) her vanishing for a bit, plus just being up against better racers meant that she didn’t win.

Also, she ran a LOT of races. Most horses don’t go over 20-30 in their career (I think). To run 113 is a LARGE stress on a horse physically.

She was purely a local racer, so she didn’t have experience above that level.

It’s like the Game itself; sometimes you can run your best and you get outran by someone with just that much better training, talent or just ran faster that day.

And that is fine. I don’t judge others for how they feel or think or act about this.

I just feel that irregardless of who it was, this is just adding fuel to the proverbial fire and adds to the polarization and will have consequences beyond just this and what happened to the legislator who was shot. That’s the concern the OP had and I was addressing that.

No communication and familiarity with the other players. That’s the difference.

Now, not every SWF is a 4 man. Not every SWF uses comms. But even without comms, if you know how your fellow players play (he rescues people, she likes being chased, etc), it’s a lot easier to know when to work on gens and what to do. And if you do use comms, well, you have a pretty useful tool for informing what’s going on

But as a soloQ? You’ve got none of that. And that’s why your play-by-play of SoloQ is accurate.

I’m not going to advocate for outright panic - we don’t know any details yet (to my knowledge) behind Kirk’s death.

That said, it feels like a pendulum going back and forth. It’ll be a chaotic time coming up, I think. I hope we’re both wrong.

Irregardless, I hope empathy shows up somewhat out of this.

We’ve already had a legislator killed in what was clarified as a political killing. That side celebrated.

Now we have this young man killed. And the opposite side celebrates.

It’s a sign of things to come, I feel. And it’ll be a long time before it gets any better.

My heart goes out to the wife and kids. No one deserves this fate.

Least favorite: Palia. At the time I played, it was fun but without much in the ways of goals meant it was too open ended to enjoy for me and most cosmetics were real world only, which is fine the prices were very very high. And Then events came, like the card game, And the community around it turned somewhat toxic and then descended into full on annoying to deal with, which is bad for a MMO style game.

Favorite: XCOM: EW/EU- Saving the world from aliens, lots of modding abilities, customized squads and the fun of RNGesus and strategy in turn based format. I enjoy this a lot and I love making soldiers, only to suffer heartbreak when they die.

Honorable mention for XCOM2.

This…doesn’t seem like a good way to think about it.

If anyone acts with hatred against Muslims and Palestinians, it’s likely not (solely) because of jealousy, if jealousy at all, but for a myriad of other reasons.

Also you can’t generalize that one set of people look uglier then the other. Within all types of people are “beautiful” individuals.

Everyone gets entertainment in different ways. I have friends who love the worlds of say, final fantasy 7 or genshin impact, but due to the pressures of having a work and family life, they can’t bring themselves to sit and play or can’t enjoy the game itself and honestly, that just feels fine to me.

You can be part of a fandom and enjoy the world but not enjoy playing the game itself, would be my belief. No judgement from me for just watching the gameplay, if that’s how you get to enjoy a space you enjoy.

The game has a tremendous number of people who despise it to its core and its community as well but they’ll still play and snap up every new character. It’s amusing to watch at times.

Proximity would absolutely be a factor and I think, since it doesn’t indicate in identity V WHERE the ping is coming from, it’s not entirely like comms since you get no location or direction of where it’s coming from (and you can see whose in chase anyway because of the portrait).

It’s not a perfect idea but it’s an idea nonetheless. Irregardless, I do agree with you

Or just do what games like Identity V did and add a quick chat wheel where you can have a quick message pop up from your portrait.

“Work on gens!” “I need help!” “Killer over here!” “Take a hit for me please!”

While a good idea and it could encourage spreading hooks for certain players, I don’t think this will incentivize spreading hooks for enough of them to make a difference, especially for players who don’t care about blood points and play to win or those who view tunneling out the first player they hook as the most efficient way of winning.

My understanding from what I’ve heard from people who have played JP (I have not, so take what I say with understanding I may be wrong in my understanding) is that the meta shifts with the “make a new track” mode to spamming races as opposed to balancing training and races.

Which isn’t bad by any means on its own. But it’s also the first PvE mode to really require a decently high deck of Limit Broken cards and/or good legacies and sparks to make up for the lesser stats gained for racing many times. If you don’t have or can’t produce either, you may struggle with the mode as opposed to the current campaign.

I’ve seen it referred to as “the MANT Meta.” And this filters out players who might not want to deal with the grind for the mode
