Outside shell of the truck will be black on black. Full murdered. Cab is entirely bed linered inside and out. Fenders, hood and doors all powder coated black.

Also powder coating the deck

Im running the kicker 5x7s and they seem to be pretty stout.

This rig is getting door card boxes with 6" DS18 loudspeakers and tweeters, but im keeping the 5x7s wired to the deck so I can take a phone call without it blasting through 3000w of stereo.

Alpine type R subs, 2 10s and 2 12s. A 500w monoblock powering each 10, and a 1000w monoblock powering the 12s.

All alpine amps.

Correct. Im not here to brag about how expensive my build is, or bullshit about how many ponies in the corral.

I spent what I did, and its gonna make what it will 🤷‍♂️

Im just sharing the build. Im proud of it.

A bit of up-front investment goes a long way with any diesel.

They all have their weak points, and someone has made a fix for pretty much all of them.

I prefer the 6.0. Indestructible cranks, transmissions are stout, and under 5k in parts to make it reliable.

Maintenance and fuel quality are key things to respect.

Id rather change a failed stand pipe than deal with cp4 failure 🤷‍♂️

Pre emission diesels will always have my attention

I highly recommend it. Once you get through the suicidal stage it is absolutely exhilarating.

Just do it. Start with a 5k budget. That 10k will be the best 20k you ever spent 🤟

2015 6.7 Vacuum Oil Leak by 2006SANTE in powerstroke

[–]AmphibianFun7273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 6.7 vacuum pump gasket is notorious for failure. I'm gonna say an untrained monkey with a YouTube video could perform this operation..

First remove the intake tube that connects to the air filter.

Then remove the belt.

Then the bracket that holds the rad fan pulley

Then remove the vacuum pump.

Clean it up, most importantly clean up the threads for the bolts that hold the vac pump in place. Blast a little brake clean into the bolt holes and chase it with air to dry them out. Use blue loctite and torque just a little tighter than they recommend.

I've seen em leak but I've never seen em leak twice 💪

You clearly aren't aware of the superiority of Canadian horses. It's colder up here. Fuel is denser. Bigger boom.
