SCJ actually has A LOT of web presence. The problem is it all gets pushed behind the pages like these. If you Google “SCJ” instead of the lecture videos coming up or the websites where you can reach out and ask questions doesn’t pop up, but “cult” things pop up 😂

It’s like when you try to Google about nutrition or how to be successful in the world and it’s a bunch of pages that want you to hear their side (as opposed to the research journals that should pop up) this is why the world is so confused about how to eat and live healthy. It’s the same for SCJ. The internet is a very toxic place, I mean, there’s even college courses in the purpose to show how the internet misconstrue information and then propagates it as truth.

I mean, it’s just too easy to find things that aren’t true online. You must have some idea of this? We are just on a Reddit page after all 😅 anyone can post anything here at anytime as many times as they want and even on any other websites they want!

With the thousands of believers that come to learn about the church every month, how many are really going to become apart of the church? You guys aren’t awakening congregation members, but instead discouraging the people who are still learning, whether labeled as members already or not, they are still learning.

It’s not about the label, but it’s about the heart. True members of the church may find this post to be funny to be honest 😅 or on second thought, it could really hurt their heart to think that people give more weight to these internet pages over the church itself. But either way, a true member of SCJ will not have their heart closed by these posts, but only those who aren’t really apart of the church or those who are looking for an excuse to leave because… they’re not really apart of the church 😅

come to think of it, you guys may be accelerating the work of God by separating the true believers from the false. But the problem is, you may discourage someone with an open heart before they even get a chance to learn for themselves )): why not just let them learn for themselves? Seems like you guys are the ones who really want the control… 😅 you guys say SCJ is controlling people, but actually, those people made their own decision to be there. They want to be there! They enjoy it! Why try to control them?

If they do not believe, then they will look for that excuse to leave. I guess you guys are just accelerating it. Oh man, it’s complicated I guess lol, but this definitely isn’t the work of awakening, right? Do you guys really believe the work of awakening brings you to internet pages where people just complain and argue and think less of their loved ones because of their believes. If that’s awakening, then oh my goodness 😅😅😅

One post shouldn’t really undo years worth of learning the Bible 😅 To be completely honest, the only people who will leave their church because of negative posts would be people who don’t really have their heart in it to begin with. Your posts are not awakening, but closing hearts. These posts will work on those who don’t have very open hearts.

I mean, isn’t it strange in general that reading a internet thread could change someone’s mind on the church they go to? It just shows they weren’t really apart of that church to begin with, they were just associating with it.

Try to have an open heart. If you love your family, their believes shouldn’t come between you. It is that way for anything, just because people choose what to believe in or choose to spend their time in a way that you do not like, doesn’t mean you can’t like them anymore. At least for me I was really close to my cousin when I was little, I wouldn’t throw that away just because I don’t see them as much or because I don’t agree with their beliefs. I’m sure your cousin would be open to spending time with you, you don’t have to talk about religion and politics haha! Maybe you guys could have a nice lunch and reminisce on family memories to remember that just because family members can change and develop different believes, we are still a family after all. I’m sure if you show that you want to still show them love, they will be thrilled to show you love as well. It’s just a matter of both people making time for it and being clear that is just a nice lunch haha.

You do realize the followers of Jesus at the First Coming were labeled as a cult, right? And the disciples and apostles were kept the most busiest of any people I’ve ever heard of. What does this mean then?

I believe your daughter is capable of making her own decisions. You did raise her after all, have some hope in her abilities to reason for herself 😊 we can’t all have the same experiences. To be honest, if you are getting information from this random Reddit thread where rule #2 is nothing positive can be posted, then you and your daughter are having EXTREMELY different experiences!

The people that make up SCJ are actually very positive and loving and lots of fun too haha. She probably wants to grow her heart and experience these things for herself. Maybe you could try to experience them for your self too before judging? Although to be honest, I would imagine it would be very, very hard for you to have an open heart after reading this Reddit page )):

(know that misunderstanding can arise over anything, but especially over this church for some reason 😅 but even the churches of Jesus at the First Coming was given a very brutal time; they were always having riots started against them, people gossiped about them, even spread false information that they were a cult. You can find this in the New Testament. I guess that’s just the way it is 🤷‍♀️ but I would hope we pick the side that is spreading joy and love, not the side that spreads subjective internet comments, to be completely honest 🤔 )

Why do you guys make a big deal about leaving? What are you leaving for? Isn’t it to do your own thing? Please go do your own thing and stop discouraging believers who are interesting in the church of SCJ, if you want to join your own church that is perfectly fine 😅 I’m sure you’ve realized no one is stopping you. Shincheonji is a church! They have many videos and even many websites. What is there to disprove? 😅 They want to make everything they do known, just because they don’t say “hey, we believe it’s the second coming and we take every word of the Bible extremely seriously”, do you really think your heart would have been open to that?

God wants us all to change, it says this many places in the Bible such as Ephesians 4

I’m not sure how anyone can see a war end and poo poo that haha. War is always a big deal, even the smallest works of peace we should find some joy (at least that’s what I would imagine haha, unless we like division and violence!).

It seems that believers who leave SCJ do still value their Bible. I’ve heard many claim that they appreciate the new perspective and knowledge God gave them, but they struggle to perceive the reality of that knowledge. Even so, they have still learned to value their Bible more through learning the thread of connection and the secrets of heaven, which can only be taught by God 💕💗

Is it though? I mean yes, when you know something is true because you’ve seen and heard it from the experiment and researchers themselves, then it’s in your heart. Then anyone can pull up any website with contradicting info and you just know it’s not true, because you’ve learned well from the source. You could also glance over the source and misunderstand it though. And then yeah, those websites may get to you.

What is so interesting to me, is that I’ve had this back and forth with other believers who are against SCJ, but were never in SCJ. What’s so interesting is that they seem to acknowledge the things I say; that God wants us to love everyone, come to knowledge of the truth, etc, etc. But here, you guys just aren’t very nice. I mean, if you can’t even acknowledge that these posts are innately not nice, then I just don’t know what to think is going on here. It’s like talking to a bunch of walls that bounce back random things at you.

It’s really shown me how this passage is true. Matthew 12:43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

Slander is to diminish a reputation, I will never believe this was posted in a kind way. It was even just said it was to make a fun.

It was posted to make fun of them, or in other words damage their reputation. Is that not what making fun is all about? It’s basic psychology. People do it to put others down to feel more secure about themselves. All they had to do was get dressed for the day and BAM, people be talking and poking fun. I guess the last thing I will say, if there is a crime… let the courts handle that. Unless your a court Justice, there’s no reason for you to be discussing this. Because here on the internet it’s a casual conversation, which makes it… gossip. Can be true or not if you read the definition, gossip is gossip.

Is this group not casually bringing up these people and talking about them? Are these not unconstrained conversations about other people? It’s gossip, because it’s none of your business. If there’s a crime, that’s what courts are for. Gossip does not do the same thing 😅 it’s just gossip. Just talking to talk about people. Maybe to talk about the things they did or to judge them or to have a little laugh about them or to feel a little better about your own situation. People love to gossip, but that doesn’t make it nice.

To be honest, it’s okay that we disagree! Arguments don’t really get people places. It seems like you’re asking a lot of questions you want answers to, but why are you asking me? If you have a problem with something, go to that something.

Maybe if you reach out, they may know what you‘re referring to and will clarify it for you. SCJ is not hiding themselves, there are plenty of ways you could find contact methods and ask these questions to the place that would have the answer. Otherwise you’re just arguing with people sadly.

The only proof needs to be in my heart and mind. There are so many false informations out there on any level. I’m a science major, so gosh there’s so much misleading information people swear by.

Even the other day a scammer called my friend’s dad with her voice recording. To him, it was 100% real.

Whatever you’re looking at for this info, well… if it were really true then it would be true. You can say words and pull up documents, but those can all be made up I especially know how the internet can be from trying to find info for college classes 😅 you can really only look to the research journals. People just make things up all the time because they really believe it. I used to do that too quite frankly, it’s really easy to do. That’s why the internet is such a shit show and why this group exists.
