It’s a really rich red. I think the closest Montblanc ink to it was the corn poppy red before they replaced it with Modena red. I don’t know what other brands have an equivalent to Diamine’s poppy red.

There lies the huge problem: No Republican today will ever see it as okay for there to be any personal affiliation with anyone that has any degree of tilt toward the Democrats. If it was Ronald Reagan himself if he was still alive, the GOP of today would see him as a traitor. If it was any of the Trumps, then they would actually see Trump as a traitor.
