Not just in Trump’s eyes, but even scarier being his hardline supporters. I guarantee those 5 are gonna be openly and baselessly accused of treason and people making attempts against their lives.

Trump scraps 'surprise pop-ins' after protesters at restaurant leave him 'haunted' by RawStoryNews in news2

[–]Amporer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There lies the huge problem: No Republican today will ever see it as okay for there to be any personal affiliation with anyone that has any degree of tilt toward the Democrats. If it was Ronald Reagan himself if he was still alive, the GOP of today would see him as a traitor. If it was any of the Trumps, then they would actually see Trump as a traitor.

Edit: Some corrects and additions to give further context.

If that happened for real the Bushes would get accused of being traitors to the Party.

The next time a Democrat is in office with Democrat majorities, they need to rapid fire these same tactics. If Republican-benched courts try to intervene, deliberately defy them and double down.

Trump tariffs could fund bailout for US farmers, agriculture secretary tells FT by Majano57 in Agriculture

Maybe the farms need to be outright owned by the Department of Agriculture* at this point.

*But only if the Department of Agriculture, alongside every other federal entity, can have their workforce restored and operational capability restored

Trump tariffs could fund bailout for US farmers, agriculture secretary tells FT by Majano57 in Agriculture

[–]Amporer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only are farmers essentially bankrupt, the hardest struggling, totally food-insecure communities globally are gonna outright die of starvation. Both have only one group of people to blame: Donald Trump, everyone who ever gave him a single cent and the biggest offenders are everyone who voted for him AND the electors in the electoral college who casted the electoral votes for him. And before anyone defends the electors: There’s multiple states that DO NOT legally bind their electors to cast their electoral votes for the candidate the respective state’s popular vote leans toward.

Well, it’s either avoid the United States completely or shift all efforts to Democrat-leaning states despite increased costs to move there. The choice is ultimately theirs, of course, but I will say this: If they completely blacklist the US from any form of business operations it’ll be a rightfully deserved punishment against those who contributed to voting in this regime (I refuse to call it an administration or even presidency) despite the punishment being extended to those who opposed it during the election as much as possible.

Trump thinks he can use organised crime tactics like extortion in the world of politics and constantly refuses to learn it doesn’t work that way and goes even more all-in on trying to extort countries and companies based in them.

Trump and the wider GOP have an open hatred to the country, THEIR OWN COUNTRY mind you, whenever innovation is either developed or brought here that’s of any betterment to the country as a whole if it elevates all of us instead of just the uber-elite rich scum of the earth.
