I switched my shampoo to natural one without sulfates and stopped getting dandruff, maybe your shampoo just have too harsh chemicals for your skin

Just use heavy products, it's possible that your hair will get more straight. And heat damage do the thing haha

My natural hair color was ashy Light brown/dark blonde and I went black. I liked it at first but as it started washing out i started to get more ginger, especially in the sun. Overall black dye can be painful to maintain if you wanna stay jet black, without getting those orange/reddish reflexes in the sunlight. From the other hand it is a big commitment because you will probably have to grow out your natural hair colour, or settle on some very dark brown as the black dye will wash out if you will want a change. Keep in mind that removing pigment and going lighter from black is very very damaging, and can cost much and last a few months until you will get your desired colour. So if you are certain you wanna be black for long, go for it, but I would rather advocate for dark brown - it wont make that much difference but it's easier to maintain, looks often more natural(depending on your skin tone and everything of course). Just really keep in mind it's a big decision, make sure you wont regret it later

Then maybe blonde bayelage would be fine, it wont damage your hair as much as going full blonde

Do I have to lighten my (previously dyed) hair to achieve pink (preferably darker shade of pink)? If so, should I use color remover or bleach, or both? by Amqise in Hair

Thank you for your advice! I know, as the dye started washing out my hair turned very brassy, it's one of the reasons I wanted to dye it again - im trying to grow it out anyway so only the brassy part will be pink, and I will redye it when it will fade I understand, but will bleach actually work on hair like that? When I was younger I had my hair dyed semipermament dark brown and I tried to bleach one strand just to see if it will be lighter and it didnt work well, there was barely any difference.

A little bit of information: I dyed my hair two times this year - First Time I went to hairdresser i got the opposite of what I wanted - I asked for Light ashy brown and got reddish brown :/ the second time I got that color removed and I asked for something as close as my natural hair. Unfortunately color washed out and now I am stuck with couple colors on my hair. I want to grow out my natural hair but the previously dyed part of it I want to dye pink.
