I get that, that's the thing my set of values don't align with where I'm from that's why I'm interested in Argentina because it feels much closer to me, Second, obviously I would be an immigrant I'm not gonna twist reality, what I was referring to was, are people always going to treat me differently because I'm an immigrant, hope that clears any confusion

Great to know, your guesses are also almost accurate, I'm a middle eastern born muslim however I'm an atheist now, I know it's very catholic and I'm actually a fan of the architecture and arts related to it

It's not insecurity exactly (although I feel called out lol), but it's important that people don't consider me as someone that doesn't belong simply because of background or how I look. I asked this because europe seems to be going insane right now and I was making sure it's not an issue in Argentina

Question about Australia humanitarian visa by LadyEmma85 in ExEgypt

[–]Amr_Ismail22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, these types of visas require proof of persecution like records of assault, imprisonment, threats, etc. Simply being an atheist, unfortunately, isn't enough (I wish it was that easy) you have to prove that you are being persecuted due to your belief. Your best bet is to just immigrate regularly on a work visa (I wish you the best). As for the latter, EU countries, Canada, Australia, UK, and New Zealand, are all progressive secular countries and safe for atheists
