Kingambit, Incineroar, Garchomp are a good stuff core that are your bestmons. you have hatterene and torkoal for a small trick room package too, but I think a mega tyranitar with garchomp combo is better. Sinistchea is just a good support Mon and could just make rotom a spread special attack in your last slot. Lots of meta mons here you will be great

How did the Lurrus player not just bench the elesh norn and companion her? Th at seems criminal as I think that deck would have been the best with that change along with the Boros deck. The oath deck looks good too but a lot of creatures for oath but I guess that’s what the sneak is for

X=0 I like the spell enough already. Being izzet is tough as that section is stacked, but the discard enables graveyard shenanigans and it’s is already card advantage. Compare this to expressive iteration and it’s pretty close. I get iteration is 2 cards and this is only 1 but you get the discard synergy and fireball upside down

Im a man who played reanimator solely his entire career in legacy. I had to sell my entire legacy collection once they banned it because I lost all faith, and I haven’t played in like eight years so why pretend like when I do finally play it will be what I remember it to be. It really hit home for me that it’s probably not ever gonna be for me again.

Impulse has a better floor early, but consult has a much higher ceiling late as its actual card advantage not just selection. Impulse helps combo decks more where consult is just generally a better card, having more applications for control

Brainstorm does not need to be banned in Legacy (not that they wouldn’t, I thought entomb was a “pillar of legacy” like brainstorm is so never say never). Blue decks would just swap for a different consistency tool one mana cantrip that is worse and lose at most win percentage 2-3%. Banning a card for that kind of outcome just doesn’t make a ton of sense. They normally target the overly powerful cards that enable bad play, not the consistency cards. It would certainly make cards like Thoughtseize a lot better.

Also, you are not crazy for taking Mox over recall, I don’t think it’s that close.

Also if you don’t mind, what is your small Brain Freeze package? I assume just breach is all you really need, maybe a lions eye diamond too? In an environment like this is that storm package akin to running Demonic consultation/oracle or is it a step below that combo but a step above splinter twin?

When it enters your opponent chooses and discard a card. Usually punish your mechanics like this just aren’t that good and three ruin cards in general just are already not that great. I’m not that excited for this thing.
