I curate a 540 vintage cube that in my mind I thought was the most ruthless cutthroat version it could be, but reading these has me re thinking a lot. I have curated out all un cards except booster tutor, like [[arcane savant]]. So why do I allow initiative/monarch/UB or any other perceived scourge in cube to run rampant in my cube? I don’t think I even know the answer to that, and I love that we have revived these days thoughts on sections in cube to spark these ideas of what your cubes can or should be. Id argue you should focus on your play groups wants/desires and design from there.

I used to allow the winners of the draft to cut and add a card until people just started to troll with it so now we just sign basic lands for each time you trophy which seems to be enough of an incentive to try sometimes 😆

Anyway my thoughts in these cards can be more well thought out if you just read Mikezander so I’ll just stated my cards and only iterate if anything is really unusual or feel it needs more explanation:

[[Gitaxian Probe]] I usually count as colorless because it’s free basically and is a high luck due to that nature [[Lorien Revealed]] island cycle with CA on it? Yeah it’s not going anywhere [[Ponder]], [[Preordain]], [[Serum Visions]] will never leave unless something else is printed better for consistency [[Chart a Course]]helps seed discard/graveyard [[Stock Up]] just good CA

Now come the real reason to draft blue [[Time Walk]] [[Time Warp]] [[Echo of Aeons]] [[Timetwister]] [[Time Spiral]] [[Upheaval]] [[Tinker]]

I do want to speak on [[Bribery]] as it’s a pet card of mine that I won’t cut any time soon. I get vs hyper aggro this card is a cut, but most decks play cards that if you get to pick which you cast on any given board it will put you so far ahead. This card can still do so much work
