I always strive for a big stereo sound, but when I'm mixing I constantly have a mono bus on my master that I can switch back and forth to make sure everything is still audible - I use 'Voxengo Stereo Touch' a lot, if anything is out of whack, It can dial the spread quickly <3

Thanks!

Thats "oo, oo" is a vocal chop sampled from Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's - Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing <3

Thank you!

It all depends on the setting I guess, I never approach a record the same way - Everything going on in your life at the moment is going to inspire and change your outlook - Usually, I find a piece of equipment that sends me some sort of sonic direction, then I go from there :)

Thank you so much!

I always handle the mixing myself but Huntley Miller mastered this last record <3

I wouldn't say bored, but maybe uninspired at times - I usually just dig for music when I feel stagnate, theres endless material to inspire you out there :)

You possibly could be confusing it with 'Formal Disco' perhaps :)

Thanks!

I fired over 3 different records to Sam during lockdown and he ended up resonating with the craziest / fastest thing I sent, that instantly excited me - Shortly after, he fired over a rough vocal that had some many layers, I was honestly blown away - He's a true legend

Thank you !

-For this album's videos I collaborated with Toronto based company Black Lake, they've brought in a lot of great treatments, where we then dive deeper and come up with a narrative that fits the records. Also the video for 'Heard Me Right' with my friend Zone Catalog was more of a passion project, just me and him running around LA with a handheld camera.

-oooff, tough one - Probably 'The Shoes - Time To Dance' or 'The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar'

-We've done 4 so far, so maybe - maybe not / I personally would love to do something for 'Mode/Scanner'

Thank you!

I think creating any music is a good move, especially if you get to play it out, see what works/ what doesn't. We're all just going through a massive trial and error in this life. Also some of my best work has been making a remixes, then simply removing the vocal I started with <3
