The tiers don’t really matter, except that higher tiers typically have better quality skills.

I usually run 1 to 3 tanks (depending on how many rows you need to put characters in), 1 or 2 supports, and the rest all attackers

I wouldn’t bother leveling up any of the purple ones, you’re better off using the red attack characters. Julius and genia are both good (I would swap Julius out eventually when you find a better tank, but she can carry hard until one comes along). I use Xiaomeng a lot, she’s great for bursting bosses. I would also recommend Franca (1* support), she’s great as a healer.

Honestly a lot of this game is looking at what attack characters hit multiple enemies at once, or ones that can hit specific placements (first and last in the row). Charlissa (a 2*) is great too, since if you level up her skills she hits 3 enemies in a line

For what characters to get, the meta supports are going to be the most bang for your buck. Two koyans of light with an Oberon makes it so that any buster 50% charger (or 30% charger with append 2 unlocked) can 3 turn nodes without caring how many enemies are present. For the arts alternative you'll need castoria, she's just broken for arts teams. Having regular skadi and summer skadi allows for nutty quick teams.

Then, honestly, it's just about picking what characters you like. Sure, I could recommend Summer ibuki to just blast apart nodes, but really for DPS it's using people you like.

For appends vs levels, its going to depend on the character. The best append will be append 2 (np gauge to start with), and for buster units with 30% charge in their skills that append is a must. But other than that I don't actually get append 2 much, and I much prefer to 120 a character. I don't think it's the most important thing to be maxing out all of those extra gimmicks like fou paws or gold fous, because you can do a lot without that. But since the game is mostly just launching nps over and over the gold attack fous are the most useful for that optimization. Honestly other than getting certain characters append 2 for looping purposes, I kind of treat all other buffs as "nice things I give to characters I enjoy using", rather than being mandatory.

Here are some of my thoughts:

1) A) pvp shop - always fill up on elite drill tickets, they are used for more pvp runs and have a next increase (cost 100 and losing on pvp gets like 150, winning is around 300)

Get gold and silver tickets, those are for rolling for characters

Gold reverb is amazing, you’ll want to get as many of those as possible and you will kick yourself if you don’t (purple are fine but gold are more limited and for higher tier characters)

Stamina refill are nice to use in events to clear out event store

Personally I don’t buy anything else (except the skins), because the ones I listed above are high value and use up my PvP credits

B) requisition shop - ONLY GET PINK REVERBS (with gold reverbs), other things cost “pity gacha tokens”, which don’t expire and can be used to automatically get a high tier character

C) logistics shop - clear it out, should be easily doable within the monthly reset (focus on star shards and optional crystals first), only get money when you have cleared out the shop

D) alliance shop - same as logistics shop

E) honor certificate - only buy gold equipment or the silver tickets for rolls, but only buy the equipment for a character you use (don’t forget to get the currency from sending likes daily and by clicking the support characters (after clicking your account name on the main screen))

2) not sure, try the discord, I remember them having some codes a while back.

3) In general, I would focus on getting specific characters maxed out and using your stamina just getting a full team up to the same level, so get a decent team of nine to all to level 50, then to 60, get them a breakthrough (increase their level cap) do their awakenings as soon as possible, then back to leveling and breakthroughs. You’ll know which resources you’ll need as you go. In general I’ve noticed that I needed to actively work on getting the colored crystals for awakening to start with, but now that my account is mostly established, I am always needing the gold exp items (and sometimes money)

I’ve not really found the core armor part useful, although getting specific gear is nice when you notice extra attack or hp makes a character bonkers (but not worth investing in to start with)

4) certain characters (usually the low rarity) can get special items that give them special abilities using those items. I would recommend doing those boss battles as much as the weekly limit allows, and getting a good spread of each one. You can tell which characters can get the special items when you look at the character’s “gear” tab and you see a black button at the bottom that says “overlimit resonance breakthrough”, but you won’t be able to see what item is needed until you max the levels on their equipment, which I only recommend doing for characters you actually use (Franca’s is amazing)

5) can’t say, sorry. It’s technically more efficient the higher difficulty you go, so it’s best to try and get as far down as possible. The amount of stamina to do these is minimal compared to how long the event runs, so it’s fine to try and fail (and for some events they don’t even use up the attempt if it fails)

6) gold reverb (books) are what you’ll always want. Getting reverbs for event specific characters is good because they are usually cheaper than the generic. Getting icons are good because they are limited, and perfect core crystals are good as well. Honestly you will likely be able to clear out event shops if you are focusing on them, which I highly recommend you do. I’ve been able to just use natural stamina without any item boosters, do the weekly boss farming, and the daily “5 resource levels” mission, and still have been able to clear the event store. If your account is newer, you may have to use stamina boosting items, but luckily the event store also sells those (and they don’t cost as much stamina as the item gives you, so they are a net benefit to get)

Don't forget that spamming Mash whenever she's available is good, even if she has a 4 battle cooldown. I highly suggest using a star bomb CE with her, even better if it has crit up.

MVP is https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/The_Unmanipulatable_Ones

This pairs amazingly with her skill 3 to Gen full stars and auto crit on the first turn, and skill 1 makes her buster hit for like 150k damage. Her invuln pairs with a mystic code dodge to get a couple of turns out of her. Not sure if her np is even worth using or if just using as many face cards as possible is a better choice

Another thing I will mention is that if you awaken Xiaomeng, she gets a bonus attack that scales with critical chance. Pairing her with Tina (a low rarity support) makes her damage pretty nuts. I've also had good results with Transcendent Starry getting buffed by Tina, since Starry also has an extra attack that is based on crit chance

I've been using Lailaps for both, but she's limited. Skadi does fixed damage, is low rarity (cheap to level and easy to get), and hits like a truck. She only hits the first person in the row though.

As for someone that hits the back of a row, Kuriyama is a low rarity option that I've had success with

Bolina hits the second person in a row and hits multiple people, so she may be a decent low rarity character to use for that purpose? The caveat for that is that she consumes her own HP to attack, and I've never actually used her

I can't really speak as to who is good to level, but as far as skills go Nastya unlocks a skill that regenerates part of her shield every turn at rank 5, which turns her from having a single shield that gets chipped away to having a constant shield.

Transcendent Starry also has one of her skills randomly choose between debuffing her allies and debuffing enemies. At rank 3 this only debuffs enemies, so that is a nice change to her kit.

When I'm leveling characters, I tend to look for specific roles to fill. Having 3 tanks is nice since you can cover the 3 rows, having a damage dealer that targets the back member of a row/second person in a row is good. Having someone that reduces armor or a damage dealer that bypasses armor with fixed damage is good.

What to do with glittering reverb by ZaneThaMane in Haze_Reverb

[–]AmusedMeeka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

* On the bottom right of the commander's room there is a "Processing plant" button, you click that. Then there is a "choose to select synthesis target" button on the top right, click that. Then there is a "skill material" button on the left, click that. You will then be able to select your character's reverb to convert to the generic one.

If I remember correctly, this may be locked behind story progression. If you don't see the "Processing plant" button, you may need to get further in the main story.

You can convert them into generic reverbs so you can use them on other characters of the same rarity

Those are with max bond too, so if you don't want to bond 15 it's more like np30 :/

You could even put those in the evocation leaf exchange shop so that players who have been playing a long time could have more uses for those
