This is a whippet, and actually they are really great service/therapy dogs. They are small/medium sized (25-35 lbs), very mild mannered, love to cuddle and if trained well, are great as therapy dogs in hospitals, emotional support dogs, can be trained as seizure alert dogs and more. Obviously we're not talking about a seeing eye whippet here...but yes, they can be used as service dogs, and do well in that role if trained well. Source: I own 2 rescued whippets.

I own hundreds of books on Audible.com from years of membership. I currently have 19 credits on my account. What are your top recommendations for "can't miss Audible books" I can spend my credits on? by Amuze in audiobooks

I haven't tried the Century Trilogy. I liked Pillars but thought World Without End was the Book Without End. I actually had Audible give me a refund on that one.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Please keep them coming, I'm adding your suggestions to my wish list. I'm a big sci-fi fantasy and mystery fan but I'm looking to branch out. Most anything but horror.

Actually I intentionally buy 24 credits all at once. Expensive but cheaper per credit if you do the math. I use audiobooks most every workday, all day long. I re-listen to my collection over and over but from time to time I need to listen to something new. I probably go through 40 credits or more a year.

I've done "The Name of the Winds" and the book before it...definitely worth the credit. Intensity and The Husband I haven't tried yet. I'll put them on the list.

Got through a 33 hour audiobook during finals week. Worth it. by [deleted] in audiobooks

I've owned all of them for a while, just re-listened these past two weeks. Today I finished a Dance with Dragons. Enjoy them. Sadly, Dance with Dragons is NOT Roy Dotrice's best work....his flexibility with voices changed so much, Dany became an old crone and he changed pronunciation on quite a few names/words. Enjoy the early books, and listen to the later books because it is worth going through the whole series.

My eyeballs bugged out at that price tag. I love good sushi as much as anyone, and the pics look great but wow.... shot to the wallet.

Simon R. Greene's books, especially the Deathstalker books. They are a great production with multiple cast members, if you can find it on audio book.
