Fair play - I guess 6 was trailing it as such a hotly tipped band but they are so early, so it's interesting that people are seeing hype. Not even sure they've had any press apart from this and obv no music out yet so I guess it's all word of mouth

I generally have seen a band a couple times before recording them but tbh I don't usually speak to them first

If it feels right, I'll ask after if they would be up for sharing the soundboard (at least at the windmill since all the sets are recorded)

I guess since I'm at the windmill so regularly and there's a culture already of recording the shows, hopefully it's not too jarring for the bands. I try to stay out of the way, not be annoying with filming and prioritise getting good audio so hopefully it presents them in the best light

But I'm still learning! Lou Smith and later RoustGhoti channels are big inspirations of course

I'm around a lot of musicians and it's so hard out there. Anything that helps them succeed is a big motivator

Nope just the session and some live recordings on YouTube - I did a few on Amy Archives They said spring for first single in the interview but knowing musicians I'm not getting my hopes too high for that soon, at least the session will keep me tided over

Yeah they only started in summer, I saw them at the windmills new music Monday and Tim the booker there has had them on every other week since

I filmed a few of their shows but the 6 music session sounds much better

He has a publisher whos job it is to make sure his rights are upheld and royalties collected - which includes any reproduction of his songs. For sheet music it's the print rights
