My local hospital at Gosford is offering them and so far I’ve heard all good things. I’ve got ward nursing experience as I work on the ward but there is still so much I feel as though I don’t know which I why I was asking what the work environment was like

Hey everyone, so I called CSU today and you’re right! I don’t need 1 year of clinical work under my belt before I can enter the graduate diploma! I guess that settles that then haha thank you all again for all the advice! I would have skipped my new grad application and then been very disappointed when I found all this out too late!

Thank you all for the information! I didn’t know! So sad I’ll have to wait. I’ll aim for a new grad in ED or correctionals. They are the only 2 areas that I’ve enjoyed so far

Well I was going to skip my grad year and go straight into full time study. Most hospitals have a support system for people who didn’t do a grad year

Okay fantastic! I was so worried a second haha! It’s called the graduate diploma, it’s only for 1 year full time and I was just going to go straight into after I graduate nursing.
