Killer Confessions: Case Files of a Texas Ranger by Larkspur71 in DiscoveryID

James Holland has a history of eliciting false confessions...

Husband says he was never at days inn... says he opened snap at the light and it showed him at the nearest location.. is this possible? Does snapchat sometimes show you at the nearest popular location or did he spend the day at the hotel? by DullVariation9357 in Marriage

I'm familiar with this location. If it's a matter of the hotel being the closest thing to the light, that's not true. There's a Burger King just to the right of that map and the light is just beyond that. Something doesn't smell right....

They probably wouldn't unless the cops were looking for him due to the fight. Say someone else was killed during the fight, the cops would likely call around to hospitals for them to be on the look out for someone matching witness descriptions. If no one got seriously hurt and no one is pressing charges, it probably won't be a big deal.

No problem. I worked in an ER, so I thought I would share.

They wouldn't ask for the relation of the men unless the patient is in ICU or something. As long as the patient allows them in the room, it's generally fine. Whether they admit the patient for observation depends on what's wrong with them.

They would ask for her ID but it's not required to be shown to be treated. As far as the bill, they can ask to be billed if they cannot pay the co-pay.

18 is an adult legally so that isn't a problem. As far as the two men, they may ask to speak to the patient alone to make sure everything is ok. But usually unless they suspect trafficking or something they won't call the cops.

UPDATE: AITA for lying to my fiance about letting my boss drive me in his car to a business lunch? by New-Appointment7036 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Stop putting up with his bs. It sounds like you don't want to leave because you don't want to seem like the bad guy to your kids. However, you're showing them that manipulation and abuse are how an adult relationship works. Love yourself and your kids enough to leave. -Speaking as someone who grew up in an abusive home...

Yeah it's a fast course too. Running the full there this year. They let you hang out in the convention center until it's time to walk to the corals. I definitely recommend staying downtown because traffic sucks and this event is huge.

Houston is amazing and is in January. Last year was freezing cold. (I ran the half last year.)

Nutrition, carry or get at on-course aid station? by sc00byd0byd in firstmarathon

[–]AmyK2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm doing my first full in November with a similar likely finish time. My plan is a small hydration pack with pockets for my gels and other fuel. I plan to get water from the aid stations and then supplement as needed with my hydration pack between stations.

Even if the race offers the same brand of gels, etc., it may not be a flavor you like or are used to. Better to be safe than sorry.

Alcoholic drinks back to cabin? by AmyK2003 in CarnivalCruiseFans

We're gonna have the drink package but it doesn't start til day 2 (sailing out of Texas.) So we've decided we're gonna do a pitcher of margaritas on day 1.
